This game really sucked. It was about as fun as watching a Paulie Shore movie.

I think the game is cool! What made you think it sucked? I like the graphics, and the story line was ok.............

I could compile a list - Voice overs were way off
- The plot was thrown all over the place
- It didn't introduce some charcters properly (IE: Never saying where Rouge came from)
- Too many automatic sequences
- The same thing over and over again.
What I mean about the last one is that all the missions were the same. Knuckles and Rouge only did Treasure Hunting. Sonic and Shadow always ran through levels, Tails and Dr.Eggman only used their machines to get through levels. Think about it, SA2 and SA2Battle is alawys repeating itself!

Actually this is one of the best games I have played in a long time, I only just got it today and I ended up playing it for 14 hours. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it sucks and I don't really think anyone will change their minds because of what you said. You are right about the voices being played at wrong times though. It's the best game I've played since "Future Cop".

This game really sucked. It was about as fun as watching a Paulie Shore movie. While I too don't like the game much, you should be careful about speaking your mind the way you do. Believe me, I've been blunt with my feelings a few times (about other "stuff"), and it's given me a bad reputation.

His opinion, but you are right. He was a bit blunt on it. The game was good (no where as good as the first one) and they added in a few cool charecters. So I like it alot.

I was blunt on purpose because so many things are wrong with that game, I'd probably be listing them off forever.

It's reasons like this that I continue to call myself the Fan_atic... I learned to love the Sonic Adventure voiceovers. And Sonic Heroes is my favorite game yet. (I'm perfectly fine with the fact that a lot of people are dramatically against me there.) I'll agree that Rouge was oddly introduced, but they eventually got around to some explanation of where she came from. Indeed, much of the plot sequence was a little strange, but in the end it added up to a pretty interesting story. Personally, I found both SA1&2 great. I actually preferred SA2 slightly, thanks to it's true 2-player compatibility.

well of course you're not supposed to know about Rouge at first. She is a government spy after all. I will admit there were a few things in the game I didn't like, but it was still a good game. True, it doesn't have the exact same realistic look as Sonic Adventure, but the levels were good and the music was cool. I could have done with an adventure field at least, but it wasn't a bad game. I don't like Heroes as much because it's missing a lot of things the Sonic Adventure games had.... like the chao garden.

Yeah, I missed the adventure fields, too, you could take a break between levels to explore, etc. The voices were fine to me, but they needed to be more louder & clearer. The background music drowned them out to the point where it sounded like the characters were mumbling. I was a little dissapointed at first, having to play as Tails in the Mech Walker-thingie throughout all the levels, but I got used to it & its not so bad. And it needed more variety instead of just, Sonic & Shadow running, Knuckles & Rouge hunting, & Tails & Eggman shooting, etc. That's all I have to complain about this game. Yeah, thats why that game dissapointed me. I was expecting it to be like the Adventure series.

Perhaps I was a bit harsh. There are some good things about the game. Sonic's levels were entertaining, and the storyline was good enough to keep my intrest.
Heroes though, I just didn't find fun. There was little there to keep my intrest.

Agreed. Overall, the old games are the best! IMO, Heroes wasn't much like the old games.

Sonic Heroes was just to test the market; I just bought it a few dayz ago, and I think it's great, but it lacks a lot of stuff SA1 and 2 had... I actually was annoyed that they chose to make it team based. I hope there's a SA3, with even better graphics than Heroes, adventure fields, and a slightly more mature plotline. SA2's plot was pretty good, but playing as Tails in that cyclone really sucked IMHO. SA2, even after all the time since it was first released, is prolly my fave game At the moment, but I'm trying to finish Heroes. IMO, SA1 just lacked credibility. In other words, I just couldn't take that one seriously! The voice acting sucked, the characters looked weird and the sounds reminded me of a bad night at the arcades! Heroes, crossed with SA2, crossed with SA1, and no team-rubbish= great game!

It's the only game i've completed 5 times but i think they should have made
1 more boss battles 2 more Shadow levels as there are not many (total i've counted 4)
main things I like
The storyline The music choice and charcter designs

Yeah! Man, whats up with Shadow's levels? There are only four, right? At least he got the Biolizard as a boss.
Tails shouldn't have been stuck with that massive cyclone thing, but even so, I decided to get good with Tails in SA2; my friends REFUSE to play against me as Tails, cos I always kick their #$$! ;D

Heh! I've been waiting for this! It' a pity there's no way I could ever play you in SA2. I know a guy that REALLY has to get out more often, and he's got a 100% save game or SA2 (He has everything, in other words, all As). What's your best time for Final Rush and boss challenge?

I don't get this. Why does no one like Sonic Heroes? Tails looks the best in his Heroes form, so does almost everyone apart from Sonic and Shadow (They look weird) and Heroes' CG scenes were absolutely beautiful. The music was good and the storyline, if you took the time to think it through, makes perfect sense. I found this hard to believe when I bought the game, but it's true: The game is addictive! I've played through SA2, before getting the VM, for hours on end (Finished it straight up around ten times) and Heroes is likely to be just as fun.
Has anyone here finished heroes? You have to admit the last episode is pretty darn cool. Could be better, but alright.
Don't want to seem like I'm arguing, but I just want to get an edge on Heroes defence, since no one here seems to like it.

This game really sucked. It was about as fun as watching a Paulie Shore movie. How can you say that? Sonic Adventure 2 is one of the best games ever. Well, your entitled to your own opinion but I just cant see how anyone could not like this game.

I did things a little diferently. The first 3d sonic game I played was a demo of Sonic Heroes! AFTER that, I played SA2, then SA1, then bought Heroes. I LOVE SA2's boss battles. I don't know why its so much fun making my friend, who had the game for years, look stupid by trashing his best times by over four minutes! I'm proud to say I can do Dark Side Boss Battle in under five minutes! City Escape? I didn't do very well fist time through: It was he second Sonic level I' ever played and SA2's controls on the DreamCast are weird compared to Heroes controls on the Playstation2. Has anyone got a DC and SA2? Try running in a straight line. My friends are chiselling a bit out of the controller so they can hold it steady. Don't ask. First time I played the first three levels on Heroes, I got an A, then two Bs. I'm doing the 'All As' challenge now.

I loved the DC's handling, especialy for SA2. I can run straight for about 4 seconds, but then i need to move the joystick just a tad to keep it steady. For me, that was a great reflex i had, not a bad one. I still play the Dreamcast once in a while... to keep the experience alive... (i wonder if in 20 years, my DC and other systems will still work...)
