Sega said that in E3, they'll tell a blockbuster announcement. May have to do with Sonic. Or what everyone else thinks and Sega's going back in the console business and compete with Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft. I think its gonna be something I dont give a crap about, so we have to see, E3 I think is next week....

It would be very "explosive" news if Sega announced that they were going back in the console business &/or announced Sonic Adventure 3! ;D *joins in Draco's little dance, hoping any of this is true*

Yes, this silly announcement caused quite a stir and seemed to get just about everyone's hopes up. I, for one, didn't ever believe Sega would re-enter the console business, because it just can't happen. Before they made gamers aware that they were going to make a "big" announcement at E3, they already announced an array of new titles for Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, and GBA... not to mention their clues at upcoming Nintendo DS and PSP games as well. Sega is in no position, financially, to create a new home console, create games for this new console, back this new console with advertising, AND create games for the already-existing consoles. And luckily, since I never assumed this would happen, Sega's "big" announcement didn't totally shock me.
But I don't understand what makes that a "big" announcement...

Ok that was just plain stupid, they already had "The Matrix Online" on the front page a few days before.
