Still into Pokemon, too bad this whole damn work thing is keeping me from playing.
Nintendo has been acting pretty cocky lately. First they brag about being #1 and #2 on hardware with their two systems in March. Second, they spout about the ability to sell 300,000,000 pieces of Wii and DS software this year, that's a hell of a lot. Next, they say proclaim that 124 games are being made at Nintendo themselves: 79 DS games(being more hardcore than the casual stuff like Brain Age) and 45 Wii games, some being Mario, Metroid and Smash Bros. and that their next batch of games being out in late summer. Game Informer has an exclusive on Super Mario Galaxy in their June issue, so expect Mario Galaxy a little early. Finally, a real non-Nintendo thing happened. They bought the developer Monolith Soft from Namco Bandai today. They made Xenosaga(unknown if Nintendo has the Xenosaga name). They also made Namco X Capcom (Great Japanese PS2 game), the two Baten Kaitos games on the GCN and is in the middle of making Disaster: Day of Crysis for the Wii(It's the movie Day After Tomorrow as a video game).
Bust-a-Move Bash got terrible scores(like 5's), but it is a good single player puzzle game. The multiplayer wasn't a big deal, but the idea od supporting 8 Wii Remotes at once is impressive. This is a rare moment where I'll totally disagree with all the reviews I read. It's Bust-a-Move, you can't really can't do that differently.
