Many Wal-Marts now have XBOX 360s on display and playable. Who's played it?
I, personally, wasn't all that impressed. The Call of Duty 2 demo had poor anti-aliasing (if there was any at all) and just had a roughness about it. The videos I've seen of the PS3 look much better.
For those who've played it, your thoughts.

Yes I played it at EB, GameStop and Best Buy and yes I did not like it. (But I will still get it after I get the Revolution) The Controller is OK, but has flaws. First! When I press Start or Back, I still put my thumb underneath the left analog stick.... it's not there anymore. it's in the middle. Second! The black and white buttons no longer exist. Instead, they have 2 shoulder buttons with the 2 triggers. Now this is what GameCube owners did not like about the controller, the Z button. The Z Button is small and far up. So Microsoft was like hey, let's copy the GCN controller's worst flaw. And double it. And make it the B/W Buttons' replacements. Third! The right analog stick is very high. The 360 controller is smaller then the XB S Controller so the stick is further up, making it a bit harder to get to. But that's not so bad though.
High Definition. I don't like it. It makes pixels super sharp and the screen becomes jagged or should I say pixelated.
Games. King Kong, Call of Duty 2 and one of mine personal wanted titles, Kameo. King Kong started very quick into action and they told me to do something to distract the T-Rex. I didn't have anything so I couldn't do anything. Screw that game. Call of Duty 2 was OK. The graphics weren't next gen. the controls were good, but how is this game any different so I can play it on a new console. I'd say go get the Big Red One on the GCN, Xbox and PS2. And then there's Kameo. I was so happy to play this game. Was. The game looks like an Xbox game... Figures. But what kills me is that the controls suck. You can tell this was a GameCube or even an Xbox game. I'm still gonna get it, but that's until it's a Platnium Hit.
I wasn't thrilled but the games, but the console itself is beautiful. That's all I got.

One of my brothers got to play at Wal-Mart. He said that it looked fantastic. I'm not impressed with the 360 either because it lacks good games besides the next Halo.

Found out that Wal-Mart runs the XBOX 360 in 480i on 720p screens, which is why it looked so fugly. It looks a bit better at the proper resolution, but it still gets a "meh".

I recently went to my local Gamestop, they had a 360, I couldn't play it, but the graphics looked OK. I didn't know what game the guy was playing, but it reminded me a lot of Metroid Prime's Morphball.

Let's give 3 cheers to the Wal-Mart in Lucedale, MS. They set up their first playable video game booth and it was the Xbox 360. However, it didn't work, but did it stop me from not looking at it? No. I played with the 360's controller and I'll have to admit that it feels a lot more comfortable than the old Xbox pads. My biggest beef with it was the shoulder buttons.
