Yep! I read it recently. I can't confirm it though, it was in a rumour mill.
Anyway, from what I read The 3rd parties were going to make their games for the new XBox, but instead they saw a LOT more potential for their games in Sony and are now developing the games for that.
So, just to let you know Microsoft probably will be kicked of gaming.

I think it's getting Dreamcasted. BUT HALO 3 will come out the same day as the PS3's launch to fight (confirmed from Gates himself) So I still dunno...

Bah. I hope Microsoft gets booted out of existance!! ^^ They don't deserve to be in gaming. They also don't deserve to be in the computer business, but we'll save that for another topic! Anyway, canNOT wait till the PS3 and Revolution come out! ^_^

Well with Final Fantasy XI going to the Xbox 360 and the PS2 servers are gonna die out, I think Microsoft is only getting stronger, but seeing Killzone 2 for the PS3, I couldn'e believe the graphics, it made Half Life 2 look bad!

The 360 has a bit more than the Xbox had. Since the Revo is way different and the PS3 is very costly, Microsoft's the middleman here, which is good for them.

Only 5.8 percent of gamers support the 360 in Japan, compared to 21.9 for the Revo and a whopping 72.3 percent for the PS3. This console is gonna die quick.

No it's not. Why does everyone think that numbers like that tell the future. No one supported the XBox in Japan when it first came out yet here they are going off with there next system. And Microsoft's main customers are the Americans and I know more people pulling for the XBox then PS3.

Do tell, why is the PS2 dominating the market right now? Why is the PS3 projected to have the highest sales?

In America's game market, Microsoft and Sony are dead even.

Impressive line-up, but I'm not gonna get the 360, or atleast till Halo 3 comes out. I don't like Microsoft. First the PC and OS industry, now the VG industry. I fear that Microsoft is going to crush both Nintendo and Sony and there will be unity in the game industry which isn't good. I've learned from economics that competition brings in money, but with Microsoft being a huge company it will get rid of the competition and there won't be a lot of money going into the game industry. I know that games are important, but so are consoles.

Microsoft is losing $126 on every XBOX 360 sold. They're gonna have to sell a helluva lot of games, considering the demand for 360s.

I think Nintendo is much more at risk than Microsoft. The japanese 360 launch was lame, but that's because there wasn't any good game for the audience there. Wait until Blue Dragon and Lost Oddesey are out.
