Let me try to revive a dying board by starting a thread here on Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Wii. It follows the story three years after the death of Mad King Ashnard. The land of Tellius is overrun by an evil empire who's next move is to attack the northwest territory of Crimea. Jarod, a general of the Begnion troops, is searching the land of a group of people who are willing to stand up against him. They are known as the Dawn Brigade. The hero of the story is a light mage called Micaiah who is working against the empire and uses healing powers.
Just like any other Fire Emblem game, the gameplay is turn based. Units level up, gain abilities, all the same stuff. If one of your character dies, you will never see that person join you in a fight again.
If you're hoping that the game will give you something new for that Wii experience, you won't really find it. It will be like playing another game for the Gamecube. The only thing you need to use is your Wii-mote turned on its side. The game is not motion-based and there are no online functions. That doesn't mean it won't be a good game though if you love the Fire Emblem series.
Expect to be able to purchase it November 5th.
