I was suprised how quickly the admins took care of the offenders. Probably no more than two people even saw the said spam. Anyway, just as a reminder: If you're met by a flamer on the forums, don't feed the trolls. Just by responding, you give him more power, which will encourage more attacks, and it's a vicious loop downward after that. If you must post in a thread that the flamer has posted it, just ignore the post like it wasn't there at all, and carry on the conversation. Yea we were spammed again by that a loser. Looks like he had nothing to do on a Sat. afternoon. He even sucked as a spammer.

I remember deleting his 8 posts at ~6:00 EST, since they were all in spanish, and then subsequentially banned him. However, I remember he did one post in English, so I unbanned him, thinking maybe he didn't know that this was an English speaking board. Goes to show that maybe you should think things over first instead of being impulsive. |

There's a new user called chiquitolacalzada, so be prepared for another attack. As much as I want to ban random people, I'm going to try to stick with the "innocent until proven stupid" ideology. EDIT: Did a quick traceroute, although I set the TTL well below what was necessary for it to actually make it to the person's machine, the IP address of both a loser and chiquitolacalzada are originating from the same ISP. Same person? Quite feasable. Possibility? Likely, but not definately. I wouldn't be suprised if it's a spammer, or someone who actually wants to join the community, but I'm hoping for the latter. |

UPDATE: Hey, hey, hey! I was right. Tried in the middle of the night. Did the same as the last one.
UPDATE 2: Heh, loser did it again in the late morning, once more he doesn't know what he's doing.
