Another example of people who don't have the common sense to list details.
Don't expect people to read your mind.

Well His Email No Longer Works And His Name In The Message Boards Is Shadow Just Shadow no numbers or anything Oh, him.He doesn't post around here anymore because... - One day Ashura (notorius for flaming and being a n00b) got a hold of his password somehow and I never got a good explanation as to why from Shadow. So his pw was changed and I never told him what it was for his own good. Tip: don't make predictable passwords. You're held responsible if something bad happens and you can't keep your story straight.
- His screen name was hacked into (which was also his email) so he had to delete that aol account and start new ones. Tip1: Don't use an aol email to sign up on a board because you'll never get your pw sent to a non-existent email if you either stop using aol or something like that happens. Tip2: Don't accept a direct connection from a hacker or any suspicious person. They'll be on your screen name immediately.
What reason do you have to contact him? Maybe I can give him a message.

Ouch. and another tip is: If you use multiple accounts for many stuff (Like Email, Battle.Net, Forums), ALWAYS have different passwords, cause if someone finds out about one of the passwords, your doomed >.<
a tip to help this is to keep a peice of paper under your keyboard and write down the website/Source and your password next to it, im a genious, huh? ;D

It's not that he forgot his pw. In fact, it was so simple that someone guessed it. But he forgot the url to his own board so I wouldn't put it past him. .

Hide them under your keyboard or mouse? Are you stupid?
Everyone knows that you store passwords in encryped text files. DUH!

No, that name used to be his before he had to delete it. His Metalshadow606 or Metalshadow6068 (whichever it was) is what I saw him on last. He has atleast 4 s/n. Most often when people have that many, I have no choice but to not add any of them until they choose which one to use.

ack, i dunno how to encrypt TXT files, but sounds useful. plain text files don't hold any specific format other than line breaks and tabs. Although you can throw them in a zip or rar archive and encrypt those with a password. Rar's newest encryption uses the latest AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) to the point where you can optionally encrypt the headers of the archive so you can't see the names of the files in the archive through a hex editor or other tool.
