i like shadow basically because i like his shoes more than sonics, his shoes are like roller blades and sonics is just plain old shoes, out of a choice between having sonics shoes and shadows shoes id choose shadow, but i like sonic more than shadow, but thats aside from the point
shadow hasnt been in any of the sonic advance games so whats the chance hes prolly ever gonna be in one?
and Tails, thanks for the showing the screenshots
my guess is its gonna be like sonic crackers or chaotix 32x

There was no such thing. When I first posted months ago that Sonic Advance 3 was announced. It was just announced. There was no plot and no screen shots to back it up! i got the info a day after the actual announcment.
I have 1 complaint about Sonic Advance 3
OMOCHAO IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! KILL OMOCHAO!
I'm guessing that in this game, you can customize your teams to have any two characters you want... out of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Cream... that is. It also seems that you can do different actions depending on the character you're playing as (I guess)... and it reminds me of Sonic Heroes in a vague kind of way. It also reminds of the teamwork involved in Knuckles Chaotix. Sonic Advance 2 was an improvement over Sonic Advance 1, and Sonic Advance 3 looks to be an improvement over Sonic Advance 2!
Yep, I'm very proud of the "Sonic Advance" series. Sonic Team did work on those games, but it is actually a company called "Dimps" that developed the "Sonic Advance" games. But even so, they're new, fresh, great... and as close to classic sonic games as we may ever get.

! He is not cool! He is a stuid robot that needs a new job!!
that just made you sound more psychotic zero, ive begun to notice how deranged some of your replies sound, cause omochao does have a job, hes a database of information, much like tikal in sonic adventure, he has other jobs as well, such as a tip robot, a race flag waver, a robot that quarantines off certain areas of race tracks, like on sa2b, so he does have a job

It's true that Amy is a playable character, but I have my doubts about Shadow and the rest. Here's why I think that:
Of all the two Sonic Advance games, part 2 was the only one with a storyline. Cream's introduction happened from it, but part 3 doesn't look like it will be involving anyone but the good heroes and Eggman.
Despite Shadow being in Sonic Battle (and the hints that Sonic Battle takes place after Heroes), Sonic Team will probably keep Shadow out for sake of anything "slipping" as far as storyline goes (such as if he was a clone, why would he be doing this and that? etc). The "mystery and confusion" started in Heroes about Shadow will likely be kept in the dark (no pun intended) until some sort of sequel comes out.
Also, Sonic Advance 3 looks like it will be the first huge map-oriented Sonic Game. I'm guessing those wand looking things are some sort of keys to unlock new areas to explore (Metroid-style gameplay as far as exploring) And maybe different character pairing's abilities can lead to exclusive areas or different areas sooner than others, which gives a wide range of storyline branching. These are my current theories. Add in your ideas too if you'd like .
I think Sonic Tails Knuckles Amy and Cream are the only playable characters, and info is still slim so there might be a storyline since Advance 2 and Battle did cause thats a step backwards if they don't
In one of the pics, it shows Sonic running backwards. Now, this might not be significant... Sonic could simply be running the opposite way for no apparent reason, or perhaps the level started on the right side and ends on the left... but if none of those factors were true, I'd say Sonic is now on an exploration frenzy! XFox's predictions fit the pictures well and I believe they are accurate. I like Metroid games alot... so I'd love to see the two worlds collide (not literally).
It's a little too early for there to be a ROM at the moment...
The game is scheduled for a release sometime during the first hlaf of 2004, and the japanese version is set for June 17th or sometime around there. Expect a ROM to be availible by the time the game is about to be released... although I'm not sure whether the north american or japanese version will come out first.
