At least they should be. I love playing with sonic glitches so i figured i might as well share my fun with everyone else. So I'll start with Tails. Did you know he can play his own level in Emerald Coast?
You start by standing in the doorway of the hotel that leads to the pool area. Those are sliding doors, right? Well, if you can get your timing perfect, you can jump up into the ceiling and stand on the doors. From here, you gotta fly within the building around to the emerald coast entrance. Just don't fly outside of it or you'll have to do it over again.

Welcome to the board . I've tried this trick on Sonic Adventure DX awhile ago without any luck. Is this just for the Dreamcast game or will it work for DX as well?

aw, you serious? it works in the DC version. But how could they fix that in the Gamecube one? Darn it. The glitches are so fun to play with. I wanted everyone to try these glitches. I know they work for DC cause I wouldn't post them unless I tried them.

Beware Of Gliches Because They Can Damage You Memory Card Or Game (I Think) That Why I Use The Dreamcast Version I don't think that is even remotely true. These glitches like getting into some stage you're not supposed to won't. They don't involve saving to the memory card of that happening. But there are other "glitches" (some I won't prove) that can do some serious damage. Some people say that if you do the Sonic 2 level Select code, pull the cartridge out, put Sonic 3 in, and reset, the Sonic 3 level select code is enabled. Note that your game can be permanently damaged by attempting that. And then there's people saying if you turn the power off while saving a certain way in a Pokemon game, you can clone your Pokemon. Well, some of those may work but turning off the power while saving is like falling asleep while juggling knives! So always think and you'll see things clearly.

Yep! Everyone should try the Tails in Emerald Coast. But, just don't go too far cause he can't go through the whole level.
And then, if you all want, I can go and give you the details on how to get to At Dawn in Speedy Highway with Tails.

in Gold, transfer it to the PC, when it says it's saving, turn it off and on again and you have two. works every time and never screws up the cart.

i do have a few more glitches. like that works for Knuckles too in Emerald Coast. And he climbs on an invisible wall in there. at the very beginning with that hotel on your right.
and there is the one with Tails At Dawn in Speedy Highway. And Knuckles in Sonic's part of the Lost World.

How do you do Knux in Sonic's Lost World? well first you gotta climb up the wall. but efore you even do that, you gotta locate the highest room. when you see that, climb up to it and you'll see a hole in the middle of the floor. Don't drop all the way down in there. Look for the indent where there is a bomb. Now this is a really tricky part and may take a while to do. Move up into the top right corner in that little indent. Keep jumping and gliding at the wall. Sooner or later, you'll fly through into an open black space. Glide around in there and hopefully, it should take you straight to the ending of Sonic's level. The big mosaic will be in front of you along with the capsule of animals. You can jump on the capsule too. It actually won't glitch. He'll just say Got It, and the level ends

I hated that Emerald Coast w/ Tails glitched. After I reached Act II, I just kept dying and dying.... that's why you're not supposed to go too far in that level. That happens in the At Dawn in Speed Highway too. I still wonder if Sonic Team had first planned for Emerald Coast to be one of Tails' levels. What else could it be? I can't think of any other reason for there to be Tails' extra life boxes in this level.

What ever character you play as, the boxes will change to that character no matter what.. that's how it was programmed ;D
you know where you go up the hill and walk across that path on the lighthouse. well that entrance right there you canh't go in. you can, but you'll hit some random spring and fall in the water. Why can't you fly through or over?

Well, the Tails in EC glitch does work on DC, but to get it on GCN is slightly different.
1st) Go by the pool. 2nd) Go to the corner of the building from the outside, where you are under a ledge (to the immediate right of where you come out of the hotel, the corner closest to the gate) 3rd) Try and fly. You will go right through the ledge. 4th) Fly through the building and onto the beach. 5th) Ta dah! This is easier with the Jet Anklets.
Note: That part where the game stops as Tails, instead of Tails dying, the game fades out without Tails dying and has a "now saving" screen, then goes to Station Square. But it is possible on GCN. You have to land on >just< the right hunk of beach for it to work.
