Some color changes have been made for the Battle Cards. It will now display staff cards in blue. All the images have been moved and will have to be downloaded again. Also, the stylesheet have been split in half. One half is shared and handles layout width, etc. The other half handles group-specific colors.
Another feature I was going to try to add in was the ability for users to choose between other colors of templates (up to all 10 used in Sonic Battle). This would allow them to choose what colors to display for members and staff. It would be specific only to the user viewing them. It wouldn't give different colors per user. To do that would require all users to load and cache over 10 stylesheets and accompanying images before loading a page the first time.
But the real drawback would be having to enter all the option menus into the profile. The script size would be huge, parse time would be slow, and the profile page would have enough Battle Card option to warrant it's own section of options. Another option would be to have all the options pre-written and hidden in the headers. This would save scripting time too. But because the main headers used for profile modifications are shared by all other areas except threads, it would increase raw page size as an expense. It wouldn't be as bad if Proboards would break down the main header into less broad chunks (such as profile view, profile modify, PM view, PM modify, Post body, etc). I'll still be looking into ways to simplify it though before thinking it's not worth it. The only purpose to modifying the profile pages for the options is to get the preferences cookied. The rendering script does the rest based on the cookies.
