We just created this new board for sprites and fan comics. The topics related to this from the fanart board are being moved here. However, some of the topics are being locked or removed if any of the following have happened:
If your topic (s) were locked for the above reasons, they will remain locked until you start a new topic for it that follow the above guidelines. One topic per comic series and one topic per user's collection of sprites please. If you don't make a new topic for your comic after 2 months of it being locked, we cannot promise the topic will not be removed. This is your chance to start fresh.
Also, double posting and volleyball (back and forth posting between the same two members as if in an IM conversation or chat room) are not allowed. The author must wait for (valid) feedback or use the edit button. Valid feedback provides an opinion as well as detailed discussion about what they think (typically 3 good sentences). If someone gives feedback that has unreadable grammar (lowercase 'i's, lack of question marks for questions, etc), short irrelevant replies, etc, their posts will be deleted. Replies dependant of the bad post will be deleted along with it (such as if you quote it or comment on their comment). Deleted posts do subtract from post counts, so make the effort and you'll be fine. We will not allow spam to ruin the author's topic.
These rules will most likely apply to the Fanart, Fanfic, and Fangame boards in the future.
- Bad subject names such as "My Comic." This doesn't say what the comic is about. If you want to post about a comic, it has to have a name. And the subject of the topic has to represent the comic / sprite properly.
- Several different topics for the same comic. If you're continuing a comic, put the sequels in the same topic. There is no need for "My comic!" and "My new comic!" It makes a mess and things must be reorganized. A suitable name for the topic would be a unique name (such as the name of your comic series) or "Name's comics". Never use pronouns such as "my", "me", etc.
- Links to nonexistent (or no longer existing) images. This also includes linking to Angelfire sites since they disallow hotlinking.
