Do you have one?! I am a walking advertisment. I advertise for Sega and Nintendo. Online, I am an ad for this site, Sonic HQ, and so many more.

Sonic HQ has a fan directory listing aim names, links, etc. But success starts with the site. A board alone without a site doesn't really catch many people's attention. But whatever board you go to, you can always keep a link to your site in your signature and someone's bound to check it out ;D.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but its always annoyed me when people put up a message board before their site has really taken off. A message board should be put up when a website is at a successful stage, and the site should revolve around somthing thats discussable.
I think this board is a great example. XFox's site started small, but the amount of effort he has put into it is through the roof. Also, Tails ia a very discussable character.
Keep in mind that if you put up a board about somthing, be sure theres none other like it. If you make a Tails board thats basically the same (or similar) to this one, who'd want to go? We have everything we need right here.
Just my two cents.

Let me just add to my comment above. I am not aiming this at you in particular Jon (my above comment made it seem that way), but rather the idea that a message board can become big without a strong popular site.

If you just moved, then it may take a little bit of time for things to pick up. My old site has a Google Page Rank of 3/10. Now that I moved, I'm back to 0/10. This board has 2/10. So basically, my oldest site is coming in their searches as the first result and the new url is down on page 2. I've been using meta tags for future searches when they catch on. You have your own .com which gives you a bigger edge than what I started with , so you'll probably do fine.

I stand corrected, I didn't see the site. My bad.
The only reccomendation I have is wait, and try to offer somthing unique (that this MB doesn't have). I'm sure you'll be able to think of somthing.
BTW, I joined.

Ive got a new tip.
Advertise your MB really well. Get members from other MB's to sign up. You see. I am trying to figure out a MB, and when I do create one, I have at leat 5 other MB's to advertise it.
