Knuckles is gullible, and certainly not brilliant, but I wouldn't call him stupid. After Tails, hes my 2nd favorite Sonic character actually.

Knuckles is very gullible, he doesn't learn from mistakes, and he likes to do things his way. He may be a moron some times, but I like Knuckles. Well he does learn from his mistakes, he usally helps Sonic out not fight him. Almost everyone in teh Sonic World does it their own way. Sonic and Tails are like the only ones who try to work together but even then they do their own things. |

Well Knuckles isn't stupid most of the time, but he isn't an ass. Doesn't look at all like a donkey to me. Plus strong character are usually not to smart anyway.
