I could end it there but I'm in a break with Galaxy to surf the web for a while. The game's freaking incredible with excellent level design that still throws me for a loop after all this time in. The return of so much stuff from previous Mario games (from music to items, etc) just makes the blood rush. The only gripe I have with it is that a veteran gamer can breeze through a level in minutes, hell after a while you have to do some levels again to pick up a bonus star later on, and it's sometimes a speed run. I had to do the first stage in 4 minutes, I did it in 1:45. It's not long for each star, but luckily the path is totally different with each star, so it's at least a fresh experience. I'd do another example, but it'll spoil stuff so I won't. 30 stars in 4 hours, but most of them I played at GameStop so I knew the path. I guess that's good, but I can beat the game's story with 60ish if I rush through it. I'm not. I've been dominating the first couple galaxies for every star they're worth, and jst got my first star in the third world(but some stars still need to be unlocked later on in the old worlds.) I also love the small mini levels, what sucks is that it's only 1 star in them but they do the platforming the way I likes them. While not as horrendous as New Mario Bros, 1-up are still a bit easy to collect, but what's cool is that you may need a few extra lives in some places, cause the game can be hard. and that they reset to 5 is you quit.
Other than that, I'll start Assassin's Creed tomorrow to slow down my pacing for Galaxy (I know I'll blow through the third galaxy). I'll also try out Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles for Wii as well. Every night, I play Phoenix Wright 3 to help fall asleep and I think I might be almost done with it. Maybe another 10 hours.
A cool new feature is hitting 360, the ability to download Xbox games. The problem is that it's 15 bucks per game and other than the announced Halo, Fable and Psychonauts, every other game is a few dollars at a game store. Even then Halo and Fable are 10 bucks new at Best Buy.
