Damn, after dumping 200+ hours in Red, 150+ hours in Blue, 150+ hours in Yellow, 150+ hours in Silver, 50+ in Gold, 100+ in Emerald, 50+ in Fire Red; Pokemon Diamond does not feel old. This game is outstanding! The (somewhat) better graphics, the return of the realtime clock, the new world, Pokemon and characters, Using the GBA slot for support on those versions, and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support. Pokemon is my favorite RPG series and my second favorite game series of all time, well of course I'm excited. The Sunday night it came out, me and 3 co-workers went to a party and instead of rocking in Guitar Hero, or getting my ass handed to me in Gears of War, we were all on a couch racing how far we get in Pokemon and then battle it out. The battle never happened unfortunally so now it's Thursday for the race.
I've skipped tonite's class because I lost track of time playing way too much Pokemon. I'm still pissed that I can't watch the show anymore with the lack of Cartoon Network.
When I was at work I did math on how many copies we sold between 8am and noon and Nintendo made a TON of money in only 4 hours in GameStops only. I didn't count department stores(Wal-Mart) or electronic stores(Best Buy) or other game joints (Game Crazy) or count the ton of copies sold after noon, Monday and Tuesday. Or count Japan's 6 million+ copies. Just like the New Mario Bros and Brain Age did last year or Pokemon Emerald in 2005 and Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire in 2003, Diamond and Pearl is gonna sell real well not only at launch (Guarenteed #1 and 2 slot for April sales) but be in the top ten in May, June, July and August and take off for the holidays once more. Welcome Pokemon as the #1 money making game franchise ever not long from now when it beats Mario.
Speaking of Mario, Super Paper Mario ain't getting finished anytime now cause of this game. And once more, my life is on hold for this game.
Get this game, get online and once we all get nice and powered up, get my friend code.
