I'm in a ehh mood today. Didn't get that job I wanted, but it's not bothering me... yet. But I might advance on my current job. Anyone in MA should know minimum wage is going up. $7.50 will be it starting in Jan. But if you have been hired before this takes place, the company that hired you chooses if you get the raise or not.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is getting a SE in Feb. The newer version is $50 and includes postcards, character bios, and Last Order. Last Order is an anime about what happened when Sephiroth found Jenova back a few years before the game starts off.
Bought Zelda for the GameCube. Loving it, feels familiar with a hint of gameplay advantages and disadvantages: Oh wait I just played this on the Wii. Does feel like an entirely new game though.
Oh yea, I'm reviewing Wii games, here's #1:
Far Cry Vengance: I love Far Cry Instincts on the Xbox and enjoyed the remake on the 360, so the did it on Wii. I was very excited when this was announced, but Ubisoft had to screw up another game! They released like 8-9 titles on Wii and only one had quality(Rayman). The gameplay is very well made on Wii, surprised the guys next door making Red Steel didn't take it from them. But the graphics killed the game, so much that someone like me says graphics don't matter now say graphics don't matter to a point. This game looks disgusting, this makes a bad GameCube, hell Dreamcast game. Goldeneye had better textures and framerate. AI sucked too. Iam incredably disapointed at Ubi for doing this to Far Cry and making the Wii library look like a joke. Stay Away from this game.
Super Swing Golf: I am not a fan of Golf on WiiSports, fortunally this golf game makes up for it. Take Mario Golf concepts, Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball's idea on customising characters (yes there's bikinis) and make it with anime characters, you got a solid golf game. The only downfall is that the loading sucks and some graphical issues, like a few boring textures and environments. The gameplay is nice, it's controllable so that the motion sensing won't hinder the gameplay. Recommended.
Metal Slug Anthology: Take a kickass arcade franchise and dump it all on a console with various controller options and you have a kickass anthology. The emulation is spot on. Recommended.
I'll review Elebits when I get to it.
