ppl might have questions about chaos and the emeralds, and angel island. and some questions about the story in the sonic games. this is a theory but im pretty sure most of this is accurate.
Long ago, an echidna tribe had a great empire. Takil’s father toke control when his mother died. He soon become power hungry and decided to take the emeralds to gain total power. When they attacked chaos became angry. He toke the chaos emeralds and transformed into his perfect form and killed most of the tribe. Takil sealed chaos and herself in the master emerald. the emeralds that chaos possessed got scattered across the earth. The notarization between the emeralds and the master emerald keep the island on the ground. With out the emeralds the island was forced into the sky. The echidna tribe could never return to its empire. Centuries later there is only one decedent left. Knuckles.
Sonic later found the emeralds. After the death egg fell into the island it began angel island began to fall. Sonic and Tails went to the island and knux toke the emeralds. They got them back and toke them to were the master emeralds was. The tiny emeralds then got bigger and lost there color. Sonic regained the coler and these r the emeralds original form, and the emeralds of today. Sonic became hyper sonic and afterwards brought the master emerald back. When the emeralds r used they r scattered across the earth. (like the dragonballs) and that’s y sonic and the gang have to find the emeralds every game.
On to sonic adventure. Eggman shattered the emerald to free chaos. Takil kept give the characters clues (such as the mural in Sonic’s game) and visions (like when the got sucked back in time) to explain wut would happen. Later knux got the emerald pieces back. He saw a bright light in the front of the egg carrier. That was sonic defeating chaos 6. Afterwards knux had to fight chaos 6. he beat him so bad that the emeralds got out of chaos. He put the emerald pieces back in the shrine and the master emerald was reformed. Soon after it fell again. Most ppl don’t know y. remember, the notarization between the emeralds and the master emerald keep the island on the ground, and knux brought back 6 chaos emeralds with him.
Later sonic had to fight perfect chaos. Chaos had taken the color out of the emeralds. That’s why Sonic couldn’t go into his hyper form. B4 the emeralds had there color he could only go to super sonic.
