Yea, I was gonna blog everyday, but building it up seems more feasible. As well as make a better post. I'm also doing a quiz on my online class, or really trying to postpone it as much as possible(It's due on 11:55).
Tomorrow starts the Tokyo Game Show and earlier, Microsoft is trying again to not make the 360 a failure there with their press conference. They did good, showing games that I like, props go to Namco-Bandai's Trusty Bell(releasing in US as Eternal Sonata) and Mistwalker's Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. Will it help Japan's MS market? No. Last year the industry thought that they had a chance last year too, but nope. It does add a few games on my 360's wishlist though so the Americans will still be the happy ones. Plus Team Ninja did somwthing for the first time since 2001, work on a game outside the Xbox. They're remaking for the second time Ninja Gaiden for the PS3, new visuals and Racheal's storyline are the only real additions). That doesn't really look like good new for Microsoft if their biggest Japanese partner is working on other platforms. It also looks like Microsoft is attacking Nintendo by saying the 360's a better value than the Wii. Well it is, if you like Ninety Nine Nights and Project Gotham 3, but Nintendo still seems they'll own Japan with their 2 systems, which will be a first in years.
Speaking of Nintendo, they don't do TGS, but last week basically did it for them. I may not be the biggest Grand Theft Auto fan(I have Vice City and that's about it), but with the reports that the Wii might get some of the biggest franchise this generation, I might have another game on that wishlist. (by the way it, the 3 top selling games this gen are Vice City, San Andreas and GTA3, so it's bigger new than you think). Reggie, Nintendo of America's prez and total badass says M Rated content will be regular on Wii. Just make sure it's the good ones cause Far Cry Vengence and Resident Evil Umbrella Cronicles are a good start. And speaking on series going on the Wii, Guitar Hero will also be on the Wii and 360 starting in 2007, nice news there.
Yea well I got 3 new games this week, Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon Red and Blue(very generic and repetitive dungeon crawler, but it's cool having only Pokemon and no humans, and they talk) and the game I'm playing right now and totally addicted to...... Okami. It's very fun, unique and beautiful. Totally recommended for anyone looking for a new PS2 game. Total Zelda ripoff too. Haven't really continued Disgaea 2, and really don't wanna.
My manager at work is going on a convention next week and basically he'll play Gears of War, Twilight Princess and more all week. He better bring back Wii stuff for me....
