I'm currently in the process of planning a video game for perhaps Nintendo Gamecube. Seeing as now, Sega is no more, I have to go to the next gaming company. Once I go to college and takes classes to help me, expect this game to be out.
I can't give too much info because it will spoil the game. But a lot of you should like it as that it will be close to a Sonic type game.
There will be about 8-10 characters you can play in the game so it will keep people busy and interested for hours. Now the characters are a group of friends who all seem to have different personalities. I'll tell you about a few of them. First, we have Angel. She's a bubbly 17 yr. old who doesn't like to see much violence and prefers to stay at home and write a story. The you have 16yr. old Nero who enjoys watching people beat each other up. She especially likes to fight Kevin, who is 17. Now Kevin isn't exactly.... the perfect kind of guy. He has shoulder length, fiery red hair and he likes to flirt with all the girls even if they do have a boyfriend. But Speedy, an 18 yr. old skateboarding punk, doesn't put with that. In fact, Speedy almost looks after everyone else so that they will be safe and not get into trouble. But his girlfriend always finds her way into trouble somehow. We won't get into any more of that though. It'll be revealing too much.
There will also be what we call P.B. (Psycho Babies) These guys will remind everyone of something like the chao. However, what you are now raising a little balls of rubber. They can bounce around and splat into walls and all sorts of other things. These P.B. will be able to help you get through levels of the game once they are fully raised and can actually run around because they will now have legs.
I'd give you all the plot of the story, but I don't know what you think of the story so far so I'd rather wait on the plot. Unless if you all want me to tell you the plot, then I will

Escuse me for accusing you, but are you serious involved in game development? The fact that you think Sega ceases to exist baffles me.
Plus, I don't understand how, if you really are creating a game, you don't know exactly what console the game will be on. Each system is entirely different, and the process to make games for each system is different as well. You can't just make a game that is compatible for all systems. They must each be made seperately (although ports are possible). If development for this game has already begun, then you should know what you're making it for.
Also, I was curious, what development team is making this game? You can't make a video game without a development team, nor without a publisher (how would you pay for the game-making process?). Please, share the companies behind this "so-called" game with us.
* I can safetly assume this is NOT a fangame you're referring to, because it is IMPOSSIBLE to make a fangame for a system like the Nintendo Gamecube. So basically, you're a professional game developer, correcct?

well, what found out with my game systems is...
Gamecube is very Quick and Reliable. reaction timing with the controler is Great!
PS2: umm, can i get back on this?
X-Box: very good graphics, many game buttons for stuff that have to use lotsa features, but lacks button reaction...

ya, but X-Box has really good memory, but if too much room is used, it could cause ur X-Box to crash sometimes (my brother's does that if u let it sit for exactly 1 minute w/o hitting a button).
PS2 is very confusing, but it has "Sensitive" buttons.
I recommend Gamecube for its sleek (or however you spell it) performance, good reaction, hardly crashes, and such things.
overall, Gamecube seems better >.< (i sitll like X-Box better for some reason tho)

Secondly, I'm only planning the game. I'm not a professional game designer. I'm only 16! I have to go to college first cause it'd be a smart thing to do. Now, once I get myself up to professional game developer, I'll look around for a developing team, But I got a while to wait. I just wanted to express my ideas for everyone. Usually, people like to reject my ideas. -_-; Maybe that's why I'm usually quiet...

In english, that means it has kicked the bucket, it's dead, it ceases to exist. See? You said it: "Seeing as now, Sega is no more". Well, I'm glad you're hoping to acomplish all of this in your future, and I wish you luck. You can still join Sega, they are still an active gaming company. Also, try to be more clear next time.

Alright, just try to be more clear next time... Maybe you should try making a fangame? It's a good way to get introduce yourself to game development, and it may help you come up with great ideas for games and improve your skills!

It's a good way to get introduce yourself to game development, and it may help you come up with great ideas for games and improve your skills! Perhaps..... that might work out first before I go anywhere with this one. This way I can figure out my strengths and weaknesses and what to improve on. Then it can help with the storyline for my own game. Oh, I almost feel so impatient with this but I gotta be patient. I have a while to wait still...... (This reminds me..... Shadow the Hedgehog is such a cool character, don't you all agree? I wanted to create a character in memory of him for if when my game does come out, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters may not be around. I don't want to think that, but what if it does? Should I make a character in memory of him? Not exactly like him but similar in some ways.)

Emerl..... Emerl..... that's part robot isn't it? Or all robot? I don't know. But I'm thinking..... what kind of personalities do I need to add to some of my characters.....
we've got a bubbly one a strange, almost insane one a short-tempered guy the egotistical maniac a slightly normal one who is pretty much cute and then the dark, shady character
