Other then your main languge? What can you speak?
Personally I am learning German and I am getting better at forming sentences. I am still struggling with my Spanish, and it seems to be getting worse, and my Japanese is under the par for what I wanted it to be at by now.
=) Ich sprecke Deutsch, English, und Yapanese. Im taking German 1 next year. I'll be almost fluent by the end of that.

I speak English, and I've been taking Spanish classes in school for five years. Still don't know the language, thank you horrible short-term memory. Ironically enough, I'm half Puerto Rican.

I'm supposed to know French, but... erm... I guess turning turning those classes into Extended Sleeping Time didn't exactly help the learning process.

English is my native language, but I've also got skill in Spanish, German, Welsh, and Japanese. I'm currently working on learning German, it's coming very nicely. (Thank Rammstein for my interest in German.) I'm semi-fluent in Spanish. Can't really speak it, but I can easily translate what I hear. Welsh, not so well, and Japanese, I flunked out of the class. But yeah, German. Awesome.

I'm taking German I over here in my school. 2nd year in it since I really bombed it (Got a D). I'm gradually getting better at it, but having a bad attention span makes things harder (I forget things that happened not very long ago). So far, I could probably understand what people type/write in German.

I can't decide what I will take for a language next semester. I can choose french, spanish, portuguese and german. hmm.. i would assume that portuguese would be the best choice cause i learn french from a guy in ragnarok and i already have someone that will teach me german ^_^. Although, I wonder if my Japanese modern art teacher will be willing to teach a japanese language class? O.o I want to read some of those japanese things she's always reading for us.

welp, looks like i'll be doing more on portuguese during my fall semester. so i'll be learning at work and at school. although... it's kinda hard to read this textbook when it's almost entirely in portuguese. i think the introduction is the only part that is actually in english. and they're mixing both brazilian and european portuguese. hmm.. i might get a bit confused during this semester.

Portuguese is a cool language, they like slur their speech because they talk so fast.

heck yeah they do. my work consists of a lot of portuguese co-workers. and a portuguese boss. it's about half english portuguese and half brazilian. so it's hard for me to follow because they are speaking both dialects and they really do talk fast. But I figured I would take it because it is probably the best choice for a language to take when it comes to other languages spoken in the state. Well, spanish too, but spanish seemed too easy for me.
