eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil it is! I mean. We young kids have to do so much work for stuff we have almost no interest in. And for me. I miss 8 great hours of my day! Most of that could be sleeping! I have 8 hours of school. I should be spending all of them sleeping not learning about geometry!

[glow=purple,2,300]Early school should be like a college. You get to choose which classes you take (Like math and stuff) around the 5th grade or so[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]I think school is ok. Last year I hated it though because of the total hell I went through. This year I'm in home school and I like it so much better. Now I can do my work in peace and concentrate on what I'm doing.[/glow]

I don't mind school too much, I don't like it though. And since I failed 9th grade I now have to stay from 7:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. on tuesdays and wensdays. That I hate.

It's okay, I like most of my teachers, with the exception of my Spanish teacher, I think she doesn't like me, for some insane reason.
My Wood Shop is so stupid, the uppergraders act like total idiots, and when they get in trouble, they say they didn't do anything (what morons). The bad thing is, the WS teacher is so cool, but I never enjoy the class, those bastards keep ruining it. At least my friends and I created a game called Hole-Ball using those holes in the benches and a gum wapper ball. Man, that game is fun.
I get projects almost every week, which means I usually never get to enjoy a Sunday morning.
The homework is unusually light, The homework I usually get is only Math or Science, and those are my best subjects.
I love my Gym class, it's so fun. There's a good friend in it, so I can hang out with him. Also, there is a lot of funny stuff that happens in it (either someone gets hit with a ball, or I do something stupid and everyone, including me, laughs).
Overall, school is a pain in the neck, but thats what you expect in 10th grade.

As a sophomore in a school of ~2,900, I can say that education is great... just... not from this school... It's true that we have a shorter school day (~6 and a half hours or so, add an extra hour for the trip to and from school), but the homework load can vary from none, to all-nighters from day to day (I swear, these teachers get together and decide to give us all homework on *this*, *this* and *that* day :-p ). To make matters worse, about 85% of any sign of depression always comes from school (the remaining 15% is divided between a half ------ social life, and work, although it's usually the former of the two). If school was at least a little bit more "fun", homework load was more evenly distributed, and not as strict (I couldn't take a 3d modeling & special effects course because it's 'for juniors and seniors only' when a lower classman knows more than some of those jerks ever will ) ), then it'll be dramatically better... Just realized this is my 100th post...

[glow=purple,2,300]heh, what I don't like about school: Early Homework Long days Loud Boring Long Many lectures Boring Boring Strict Stupid (I mean I've only been out for four days and they say seven GYAH!) Nyeh? .. You missed only 4 days of school, and yet they say you've been out for 7? I've been in that position, sort of. Last year there was this one girl in my homeroom that had the same last name as me, and she missed ALOT of school, she was ALWAYS late, all that stuff, and so since we had the same last name, I got HER attendance records, and SHE got MINE. So I almost stayed back because of HER stupid attendance. Luckily, my mom is overreactive whenever she see's bad attendance rates on my report cards.. What I dont like about school: Homework Mad teachers Participating Homework Most of the students Homework It's sometimes boring Homework And did I mention homework? Yes, 'kudos' on 100 posty's. Whatever 'kudos' is. Means. Whatever.

What I hate about school: Too long Too early Too much homework Too many pointless but mandatory lessons (WIABH do we need to learn RE, for example?) Too crowded Too much nobody-cares-if-someone-throws-you-out-the-window-crap Too long lunch breaks (get rid of ours and we'll go home at half two!!!) Too many network problems Too many disorganised teachers (apparantly, my tech teacher misplaced my electronics components "in his cupboard" ) That's all I can think of right now. Emphasis on RIGHT NOW. Let's just say I'm glad it's half-term

meh..i wouldnt hate it so much if i could choose EXACTLY what classes i take... no civics/geography/socialstudies/history lots more technology classes, not this stupid social studies stuff... I'm pretty fortunate with my schedule for next year. Excluding the core classes I have a pretty good class setup.... Will not be in order... *Key* - [Lvl #1-5] Class (extra info (opt.)): Sem/FY, # of Per., reason of course (opt.) FY = For Year Sem. One/Two = Semester One or Two - [Lvl 4] World History 2: FY, 5 Per. a week - [Lvl 4] Theoretical Chemistry: FY 7 per. a week - [No Lvl] YPP (Youth Participation Program), Volunteering @ media Center. FY, 3 periods per week, (bounces off of Theoretical Chem.) - [Lvl 3] Computer Repair (prep. for A+ Cert.) FY 5 per. - [Lvl 4] Trig. FY, 5 per. - [Lvl 3] Piano A+B: FY, 5 per. (GPA boost) - [Lvl 3] *Meteorology: Sem. One, 5 per. - [Lvl 3] Computers II (Web Design): Sem. Two 5 Per. (Review, GPA boost) For Following Year (will change): - Core classes (English / Hist? / Math? / Sci?) - [Lvl 4] Computer Network Fundamentals, Sem. One, 5 Per. (Begin **CCNA prep) - [Lvl 4] Computer Networking Investigation: Sem. Two, 5 per (Complete **CCNA prep) - [Lvl 4] Computer Web Master A/B: FY,, 5 Per. - [Lvl 3] ***Civics: Sem. One, 5 per. So, that looks like my schedule for my junior / seinor years. Look good? * Hasn't made the official change yet, may swap with Civics if necessary ** Cisco Certified Network Associate exam *** Passing civics is required by state and/or federal law. Since I probably failed Civics last year (homework, what else), I need to retake it.

This year I like my classes. They're nice. ^_^ Creative Writing is the best. I have to write a short story, and knowing me with writing it will be close to 100 pages. XDDD My teacher will go insane. My shortest peice that I ever wrote, was 8 pages at a size 3 font. XDD and I passed it in for my latest assignment, so it was VERY Long, about 20 pages I think. He almost died.
Today in English we had a mock trial, and I was the best witness all day. XD However the defence Lawyer Ian confused me with big words. Yet my side won. WOOT! But the defence was missing two key witnesses, so the other two guys had to pull double duty. Plus one of my lawyers were out, so we pulled one from SS and it was Will! He's one of the best people to have on your side. XD Every class now my teacher will be like "Sam J. did an excellent job on the witness [seat]" WOOT! I ROCK!
it was a seat instead of a stand.

^^; But the real number of the beast is 616 (it equals 13 -gasp-) hm....
Anyway, I think I like Summer School better then normal school. I mean, it's shorter days for a short period of time. Plus it's a super small class. And I'm one of the few people who's done with all of their work! So Summer School is better. If you're a good student who does work, but had a bad semester, summer school is pretty cool... for school that is.
