i'm thinking the age difference. i used to be scared of a lot of things when i was little. heh, it's funny when you're older and the things that used to scare you now become amusing

It was still kinda eerie, but not the "ZOMGZ! o______O;; *searches for holy water and an AK-47" scary it was a couple years ago. ... Just... eerie. Yuuuh, definitely the age difference. ... Still. *searches for a scuttling red-clawed hand beneath her bed before retiring* >.>.... <.<...

^_^; heh, when i was small, i used to be afraid that i would see a head rolling out of a fireplace and around my room, because i had read a story like that. that was a bit strange because i don't have a fireplace. but i was still afraid of seeing a head.

Crap, I've got a fireplace... ... Kinda makes me remember that time a bird got stuck in our fireplace and we didn't know it until I started hearing it running around.

[glow=purple,2,300]wow, weird. ah well, hopefully Middi won't be finding any random heads lying and rolling about her room.
I think I can get a tale since we're telling 'em. Ah, tale from le camp, this will prove...weird.
I was at camp this summer, Wilderness, the jist is that you set up tents in the middle of the forest about a five minute hike down a hill with a narrow path covered in roots. And you stay there seven or six days and only shower twice, Wendsay and the day before you leave, cooking your own meals expcet for four times. Yay.
So, there's this pool house a good hike from the campsite. There was a pavillion nearby, and we had eaten there for dinner and taken our bath goods with us. We could only shower once night had fully set in, about ten o'clock. So its dark and the only light is this stpuid lil' latern-flashlight set on the table. Some of the more skittish girls took their shower then I went in. When I came out they were screaming their heads off about something, I thought it was just a daddy-longlegs, since they do that every night.
Lo and behold, it was something interesting, the pool is completely fenced in, and there's this sign with the pool rules on it. Yay. Apparently, there was this "shadow boy" on the sign. They were told to queit down and they did, under the pavillion. I decided, the hell with flashlights, I wanted to see this "shadow boy", so I walked over to the sign, and stared.
Eh, when I got almost ten feet from the sign, a shadow figure sorta...lept...onto the sign and then I proceeded to see if it was my own due to the latern, clear path to create it. Certainly moved like my own, but something got me. The latern flashlight was too far away, the shadow looked like it was being cast by a light a yard behind me. The only light source being several yards, like 30 to forty feet. Weird, also, it didn't change size or shape when I got closer, which it should have. I told "shadow boy" to leave (I have a suspicion I have spirits trailing me, one of 'em being a trouble-maker). Turned around, left, looked back, didn't go back, but...I was still close enough for my shadow to have been there, nothing.
>.> but not quite the oddest. The next day we went polar swimming and then went back and slept. Wake up, those girls are screaming again. And I listen, it was a bug, they were smashing it and it didn't die, lost an antenna (they were screaming this) and then one of the braver-hearted girls, tentmate, went and squished it in a tissue. I took the tissue and walked to the fire we always kept going when we were there and awake. I looked in the tissue, and stared, it had both anteni, when it only should have had one. As I stood there, tissue open trying to figure it out, I then noticed the wing nearest to me was perfectly normal and straight, but earlier it had been extremely crumpled, I stared, and the bug sorta started to...reform...I tossed in the fire upon realizing this and decided it was a demon bug...it was....weird...
strange camp...[/glow]

... *peers over her shoulder in a decidedly paranoid manner* I should start visiting forums during the day. Demon bug. If you say it screamed as it burned, I think I'm going to go find some holy water. That camp was seriously screwy, Digi-san. .__o; Really, really, -really- friggin' screwy. Wow...

All right. Here's a random thought/question because of what happened to me the other day. Does anyone ever get treated like a kid or something just because they look so much younger than they really are? This tends to happen to me, but I swear I really am not thirteen. -_-; sometimes I think people need to get their eyes checked.
But the other day. I just wanted to go to the mall to play DDR with my friend because it was forty minutes to go home to play or five minutes to go down the street to play. So we went to the mall to play DDR.... and we got carded! I can't believe that i got carded for playing DDR. She saw us walk in, watched us get on the machine to play, walked by us so many time when she went to the back room and all and didn't say anything until we played a few songs. Then she asked to see our IDs because she thought we were kids skipping out of school.
...I didn't realize they still did that kind of thing. But it was annoying cause she kept glaring at us afterwards as if we were really high school kids that weren't in school.

We went to high school together, but he was hella muscular due to his fathers lawn maintenance business hes been doing since he was a kid. and I was just tall and lanky cause.... well, ive always been. We once got confused as father and son (me being the son--when I was older than him) D: Felt like going Full Metal Alchemist Ed style on the young man at the register. >.< I'd tell ya the crazy bar experience I had when we (IrisFaust, a friend, and I) were underaged and went to a local bar, but thats a little off topic xD

[glow=purple,2,300]>.o I dunno, the only weird experience I've had was being called twin to my sister who's a good several years younger then me.
In any case, 's alright Lil' Ninja...You can't look that young, mebbe 16...but you can't possibly look 13...[/glow]

Looking that young isn't really a bad thing, getting treated differently is. >.< I've known a few females like this and they each had self-esteem problems. -.-;; However, they each handled their situation differently.
Its a sensitive subject too, cause sometimes them finding a man* who is pleased with them isn't enough. Sometimes the damage is so great to their self-esteem they crave more. A girl I knew, Elizabeth, did things with multiple people when she had that kinda man*..... soon that boyfriend left her (with good reason) and she continued to sleep around.... her way of finding the affection she craved, I guess -_- its a sad story; but seeing as I plan to do nothing about it, i'd say its none of my business.
Now im not saying they all acted this way, (hear me out before you kick the crap outta me) this was just the worst case scenario I witnessed, and honestly its sad. (ok, you may resume of the crap kicking if the drive is still there)
Truthfully though, I don't have a problem with it. In fact I think i'd prefer a smaller partner.

hmm... well i wasn't saying i'm short (even though I am kinda small). I was just saying people think i look extremely young. anyway, if i really do look young, then yeah i think maybe i look sixteen. fifteen is stretching it a bit but i don't mind too much. not like being told i look thirteen.
and this one happened once at a party i was at. people were actually making bets guessing how old i was. they were guessing all kinds of ages including thirteen. -_-; i really think some people need their eyes checked

Nothing wrong with being short, or thin... i wish i was both..but not for the sake of looks, just to have more energy. People like that seem to never get tired and have excessive energy,as opposed to always feeling tired and sluggish,(the only thing that motivates me outta my house is a game or anime release date ) im especially envious of people who can eat forever and not gain weight ><

[glow=purple,2,300]mhm...I'm not thinking she's complaining about being short or thin or anything like that, but mainly because people thinks she looks really young for whatever reason. It's probably something about the face though...mebbe...couldn't say, 'less I saw her in real life.[/glow]

Had to step back and take a breather. That aside, people like that are asses. If it were me they were poking at, i'd bust em up, but i've noticed that makes my female friends uncomfortable ^^;; looks like a nice witty comment would have turned the tables and punched their self-esteem in the nose at the sametime. ^^ wish I had been there

Ah that would explain the rampant amount of 'green' in Midori no Hibi.
