i needed something new to write because the board is getting slow, and there aren't too many posts to respond to nowadays. so, i'm just gonna think up some random thoughts and questions.
okay, so for those of you who are back in school, how's it going? i can't answer it cause i'm not back in school yet. not until the end of the month...
so is anyone doing any interesting projects or anything like that? cause i suddenly remember a project me and two of my friends did last year during christmas break. oh yeah, it was fun. we were only supposed to research and orally present a topic for history. ...the teacher told us to be creative about the oral presentation though. -_-; she should have never said that.
we made a movie for our project. it was... interesting. let's see, there was thumb wrestling, sailor scouts with moustaches, lots of duct tape, sonic became a rebel, disco, a ninja, chao music... oh and "I've got an idea idea for a movie..." lol, i love that song. and did i mention this was supposed to relate to the Haymarket Riot? it's supposed to be about workers wanting better lifestyles. heh, that didn't seem to work but we still got an A for a grade

Well "MidYear Finals" are starting next tues; I'll probably start cramming for that (eventually).
Also, since AP/UConn class registration is due this week, I might go into AP Comp. Sci.. If I don't like it, I can bail within the first quarter, and it won't show up on my transcript (a plus), and supposively there isn't any summer work (but I'll probably start learning a language or two to make my life easier).

Hey, I'm learning languages. Well, I have been trying to. I ended up forgetting most of the french i learned. I'm still working on japanese. and i end up learning bits of portuguese. i don't really want to learn three languages at one time, but i did take french in school, and it was kinda cool to learn. I always wanted to learn how to speak japanese. As for the portuguese, i didn't plan on learning it, but it's something that i just pick up from work.
Okay, I need another random thought.... Hey! Did you know that Momiji Sohma from Fruits Basket looks like Pikachu? Only a little though. It's because of the ears. I bought a Momiji beanie today and someone asked me if I had Pikachu on my head. ...poor Momiji. He's cursed being the year of the rabbit, but people mistake him for being a pokemon

Awww, poor Momiji.
Mmmm, random crap in school, i.e. debates. Silly thing- in December when we were assigned the debate topics, me'n me partner got absolutely confused and somehow thought we were on a different topic and now we have to do all the research and stuffs in a couple days. 's due Tuesday. XD;; Silly, but scary. *keff*

That could be ANYTHING!" Guardian: "Not anything, a pointy thing." Jonathan: "Ok, this is getting wierd now." [glow=purple,2,300]Mid-terms next week. And had nearly the whole marking period (November to yesterday) to work on a model of Valley Forge and I do it all last Saturday and Sunday. It's okay.
*shrugs* but I dunno how Middi-kun could pull real explosions outta a conversation. That would be rather insane, and living proof that the apocolypse was comming.[/glow]

It's okay.[/glow] Who knows, you might get lucky. Heck, in that big storm that came here on Wed., it knocked out power to over 110,000 customers: one of which was my school. Long story short (after hiding in in haunted stairwell for an hour, a story in itself), we get to do the exams that we missed due to the PO on monday.

Ooo... haunted stairwell. now i'm in the mood for ghost stories Well, since I have a few seconds, I might as well tell you. Just take note that this is all 100% true, not a second of it is a lie... First, a little backstory: As you could tell from the previous posts, here at our HS, we have been having our midterm exams; two exams a day, for four days. On Wed, since I didn't have to do an exam, but I did have to finish one from yesterday, I vouched to come in, and do it, and leave. (Simple enough right?). Now, my ride was instructed to come at 8:30, even though I specifically instructed him to come at 8, since I knew that I would be done by then; plus the fact that if an administrator caught me in the halls, I would get shoved into the hellhole that is more commonly refered to as the cafeteria. If I end up there, there is a next to none chance that I could get out until 9:30. I arrived on the bus, like any average day, except it was foggy, and spitting (Not quite rain, but far from a mist). As luck would have it, the exam that I needed extra time for was in the science wing, which was recently expanded to include a seminar room, four classrooms, and a stairwell that leads directly outside. By 7:40, I was completely done, checked over my answers, and such, and then went into the stairwell, which featured a few ceiling to floor windows, and new lighting. I look outside, and I can see that it is pouring outside. It was like a mini hurricane; a torrent of water was coming down the hill, the sky was blacker than black. Now, here's where the horror begins: I'm listening to my IPod, specifically the This Week in Teck podcast. Once that finishes, it, out of the blue, transitions to the Jaws theme (which, I have NO CLUE how it got on there). 10 seconds after that, the power completely dies in the building, leaving only the windows for lighting (which, left pretty much no light). 15 seconds after that, the IPod dies, so I take off my headphones, and I can really hear that it's really coming down. Then, the strong winds kick in, and thus, there was a strong howl. But, little did I realize that appearantly there was something wrong with the latch on the door that leads outside, combined with the strong winds, they would then open at random. So, basically, you can't see anything, you have no perception of time, unable to contact anyone, and you have the creaking metal doors, torrental rain, and wind... This is where you expect someone to creep up behind you, and capture you. Then, after what seems an eternity, I can tell that my ride is here, judging from the position, and shape of the headlights approaching. To shorten this, after a 100m dash to the car in pouring rain, I get into the car. I would say, after this whole ordeal, my pulse was (at a very conservative estimate) was somewhere between 95 and 110.

It's actually not that bad, but the right (or wrong, depending on your perspective) factors can make pretty much any enviroment seems scary.

Wow, weird story G. (Never thought I'd say that in my entire life). Reminds me of a story a friend told me, of how when he entered his brother's room in the middle of the night (I can't remember why), he saw a white mist or something. Naturally, this scared the heck out of him, and he went back to his room. I don't remember the exact story, but that was the jist of it.
Also, I remember a weird story my dad told me. One day, my mom was hanging clothes in a closet. Now, the bar that you usually hang stuff on wasn't there, so she essentially was hanging stuff on air, but they were acting as if there was a bar. Really weird stuff.

Oh! Oh! I have a story that I remember. See, we had this really old music box that used to sit on top of one our cabinets, and it had been there for years. No one ever touched it or anything, it was just there. And it was one of those boxes that you had to wind up to get it to play.
Well there was this one time in the middle of the night, where my family was all asleep, and suddenly out of nowhere, music started playing. It was coming from the music box. I guess my mom woke up and freaked out over it. But my dad, well, he just yelled and told his aunt to knock it off cause everyone was trying to sleep. That was weird, cause his aunt is dead. But then again, this house used to be hers, so it's natural that she might still be in here. Anyway, as soon as he said that, the music stopped.
So the next morning, my mom checked the music box and saw that no one had touched it. There were no fingerprints on it or anything, but someone had to have wound it up if it played music. Well, after that, they ended up throwing the thing out. It's too bad though. I find things like that to be amusing sometimes.

I did. n_n ... I think. >.>;; Maybe? Muh. Either way, I reread Coraline yesterday, and it wasn't as frightening as I remembered it to be. Either I'd thoroughly freaked myself out the first time when reading it (Oh dear Lord, the HAND. O___O), or it was the extreme age difference working there. ... Three years, give or take.
