I'm just curious. It is after Christmas and I have yet to hear what anyone got for Christmas.
I didn't exactly get everything I wanted for Christmas. Mostly what I needed though. The only things I got off my extensive "want" list was the first two seasons of Ghost Hunters along with the first part of the third season and the Live Halloween Special of the Stanley Hotel. Along with a Sansa. It's not anything too good, but at least it gives me something I can listen to during my classes now.
But what I got that I needed was a Wacom Tablet along with Photoshop and some other good software I'll need for my digital media class and a digital camera. I need that for my Digital Photography class.
I was going to a DS today (finally) with the christmas money i had, but i had enough for a ds and one game only.... and i stood there for i don't know how long, because i couldn't decide which game I wanted to get for now. I did finally at least get Shadow of the Colossus for the PS2. Now I know I should have gotten it way sooner. I love it.

Ahh, you are going to love your Wacom tablet, I can guarantee it lol (I have one, it's great). I got most of what I wanted too. What game did you get with your DS?

Well, yes and no. I got Ace Combat 6, and the complete Rock Band bundle (SQUEE!) for the Xbox 360, a VGA cable for the 360, a 2.1 speaker system, a ton of audio adapters... ...and on December 26th, my 360 died, most likely due to a fried GPU chip.Yeah, that's what I thought too, it sucks.

I ended up not buying the DS yet, because i couldn't pick a single game. It would be silly of me to have a DS and no game, so I haven't bought it yet even though I really should have. Give me an idea of what I should get first.

Hmm, well what kind of game do you want? I would ask Marik actually, he has like, tons of DS games.

Yea, too many I feel like sometimes. Phoenix Wright, Picross, Super Princess Peach, Mario Kart, Tetris DS and Sonic Rush are good choices. Knowing you.... Sonic Rush and Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja would fit most.
Pokemon's good, but there's so much involved to get seriously into it. New Mario Bros is good but VERY overrated. Animal Crossing's solid while Mario 64 DS is very hard without the analog stick that MADE Mario 64 in the first place. Yoshi's Island is good, but easy, which is sad cause the first Yoshi's Island game on SNES tested a Mario fan's difficulty by being very challenging with some of the most intriguing level designs and hazards. And it's region free.

Oi, Marik. You're always on at 2 in the morning. Maybe if you'd be on just a bit earlier, i could actually ask you. but you told me before to get phoenix wright so that was the first game i looked for. .... they didn't have it.
i was sorta looking at pokemon, but i was iffy about that. there's just so many pokemon games now and i'm not really ready to start all over again getting badges and all. and i looked for sonic rush, but they only had sonic rush adventure so i figured i would wait on that. i'll have another look one of these days. i need to get my hands on ds games and wii games soon.
and yes, odin, i do love my tablet. it's so much easier to draw and color now. so i can start making digital art for my deviant account. and i can practice before i start Electronic Imaging I and II.

Sounds nice. Let's see, all I've really got right now is Photoshop, Painter Essentials, etc. I have the software that came with the tablet. Nyi-chan. You're lucky to get everything that you wanted.
