How has nobody posted a topic on one of the greatest movies ever made!?
Anyone else seen it yet? I got back yesterday with a big group, and I can now say LoTR is the greatest trilogy I've ever seen, even better than the original Star Wars and The Matrix.
Thoughts?

Yes it was a great Trilogy...but how can you rank it with the Matrix? Man I think Terminator trilogy put the Matrix Trilogy to shame. But back on topic, this has to be the best trilogy I have ever seen and am glad that they started a new wave of film making. Directors are now thinking of following this one's foot steps...filming the whole story togeather...I can not wait to see what else is going to come out that will top this. (and you know something will, I just hope it is soon!)

[glow=purple,2,300]Why talk about just one movie why not all three? I LOVE THEM ALL. all three. The first one was really close to the book, the second a bit farther, and the last one just as far as the second one, buit still they were all good. So cool. The credits of the last one were the best. I mean first there was like a penciled drawing of the chracter and then in huge letter were the names of the actor, they did each person seperately, That was for the main characters only I think. Didn't watch them all, couldn't really, was in a rush. Still the Movie was great, I knew they would end the movie the same was as the book though, they had to.[/glow]

I just got one question....why did Liz Taylor get to be number 3 on the credits list when people like Orlando were in the movie more then she was?
But I loved the way the movie came out. No movie can really come close to the books, but damn this one was great. I loved everything about it.

[glow=purple,2,300]Uhh good question. These movies are timeless, I don't mind watching them over and over again, unlike the Harry Potter Movies which get old after seven watches[/glow]

I have read the books over seven times and I just love them. But what is your favoriot part in 'Return of the King'? Mine has to be when Pippin lites the beacon. Love that music that plays while you watch them travel across the mountian range.
