This game is the first RPG to feature nothing medieval, but unfortunately it was only released in Japan, an English prototype was found on Ebay at the price of $1000 (!) bucks, an infamous ROM hacker (namely Demi) wanted to borrow the cart to dump it, but the buyer thought he would make it lose value, so Demi paid him $300 to borrow it and the dump was a complete succes! The only Mother/Earthbound copy for the NES is on The Old computer.com or vimm.net (choose the hacked one to avoid any problems on vimm) Now on with the review. This game is MUCH harder than Earthbound for SNES so Game Genie is recommended, the only code that is known to exist is YEVLSIA wich will make you invulnerable to all attacks, but you must turn it off during the fight against a robot on Mt. Itoi and on the healers house because EVE is supposed to die in order for you to beat the game, it has horrible overworld graphics (just look at Ninten!) but incredible enemy graphics, this game is hard enough to keep you entertained for days (if you don´t turn on the code).

No there isn´t going to be one, that game is a compilation of Mother 1 and 2 (both Earthbounds) and it is unknown if it is going to be released in America.
