Or in Japan, Super Mario Bros. 2.
This is one of the HARDEST VG's of all time. Its SMB1 stuff but with some of the worst BS levels I have ever played. It goes all the way to Level D4, with 2 Boswers in the level, a fake one and a real one. Throught the game you see fake Boswers in the middle of a few levels. I have played this game and with nothing but mad luck... made it to D4. I just screamed lots of 4 letter words and smashed buttons and somehow I made it. I play the levels again and I can't make it through half of them again. I have no skill just mad luck. Now this game was released in Japan for the NES but in America, its in Mario All-Stars for the SNES and an unlockable in Super Mario Bros. DX for the Game Boy Color.

Ya, i have played that too. It was so long and boring that i thought after world 9 that the game was making stuff up that i just plainly gave up on it. Its REALLY hard like Marik has said. Other than that, call it an edited version of SMB1!

I've beatin the whole entire game and as Marik says it is as hard as.....!!!!! and the hardest stage was world 9-4 not D-4.

Yeah, it's hard, but it's more fun with the deadly mushrooms, and stuff like that. It's the hardest Mario game - for sure. And you had to use your brains a little, too.
