Finding a god damned Wii. I have been looking since November finding them only ONCE! However, as fate turned there was a whole situation that day where my mom could not leave home to buy it for me. DX argh, so I'm still missing my Wiiwii. I honestly don't know what could be done to help me, except someone being overly nice and buying me a Wii and I will love you forever! ... I just want to play Sim City okay?

Well, the only option I can think of is eBay, but I doubt you would want to do that, but if your really really desperate, you may have to do that . I have walked into an ebgames and Wal-Mart and saw a Wii at those places, but that was like a month ago.

From working in these stores, they're impossible. With low shipments once a week or once every other week, and them leaving in an hour, it's extremely hard. Best bet, find the Sunday ads Saturday either in a convience store or and camp the morning before.

I got pretty lucky finding mine. The day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday), I got to go to the mall. There was a Gamestop and an EB at the mall. Inside Gamestop, everyone was asking about the Wii and the phones wouldn't stop ringing about them either. I didn't even have to ask because I heard them say they were out enough times. The EB used to be nearby, but they were gone. They just recently moved to a booth outside the mall as another Gamestop, which the Gamestop I was in told me when I asked about them. Once I got to the other one outside, I just browsed the shelves for some DS games while checking the place out a bit. I didn't bother asking about the Wii because I thought it would be hopeleess. The place wasn't too busy since it wasn't very well known about yet. One person in the room asked if they had Wiis in stock and the guy at the desk said they did. I immediately got in line behind him and bought mine next. They had 3 left after me and I didn't even preorder (I wasn't big on preordering since I never know when I'll be able to get out and go to the mall. But now I preorder things online just for bonus items). Marik is in disbelief on this one as he'd know himself how far back even preorderers had to wait. I wonder if it had to do with it being the 24th of November, aka Tails' 14th Anniversary / Sonic 2's release date in the US. Lucky day for Tails Fans .

Around January 28, the Wal-Mart in Lucedale got a shipment of Wiis. When my mom and I came back after the shipment, they had about 4 to 6 consoles left. My mom wanted to put one on lay-away, but according to my bro, Wal-Mart didn't do lay-aways.
On a different subject, I find it strange that the Lucedale Wal-Mart always has two or three PS3s in stock. I'd expect those to sell like hotcakes.

Every time I go to my Wal-Mart they have at least one PS3.

I've never seen a Wii in our Walmart. There's always 2 PS3s at the bottom below the shelves though. They never move. And the PS3s on display in every store I've seen them in have alwyas been frozen. I've never seen one that wasn't frozen.

Hey, thats like the same thing that happens to the PS3s at about every store that has them on display around me! That must be common with them.

The Sony rep in my area said there's a bug in Motorstorm that makes it happen and to notify customers on that. I say, "That's what happens when you buy that system."
