I just finished Killer 7 for the Gamecube and I must say I was extremely impressed. Capcom has gone way out on a limb to create an original game like no other and has succeeded brilliantly. The story is about an old assassin who has 7 different personalities, and he must use all of them to take down a group called the Heaven Smiles. You can play each of the 7 different personalites, who have different strengths to overcome different puzzles. The puzzles are very simple, but the style makes up it. Killer 7 uses cell shaded graphics, but in such a unique way its amazing. You kind of have to see it for yourself. Its a mature game, with swearing and lots of blood, though none of it feels tacked on. It all fits in very well with the deep and very confusing story. The music rocks, the graphics rock, but what about the gameplay? The entire game is on rails, all you have to do is hold the A button to walk forward. When you come across a monster, you hold the R button to go into a stationary first person mode, then use A to fire your gun. That may not sound very interesting, but surprisingly it is. It may just be that theres so much style, I didnt care about the monotonous gameplay, but who knows. I never got bored playing it, and I always wanted to see what was around that next corner. In short, Killer 7 is a very stylish, very original game. It has a great story, fresh gameplay, and great music. Some people may find the gameplay to be monotonous, so I would suggest renting it first. Overall, I would give Killer 7 a 9.5 out of 10. Completely worth my 50 dollars. This was probably written very poorly, as Im not a very good writer, but I just wanted to share how much I liked this game. Has anybody else tried it? what do you think?

I beat this game too and I was also impressed. It's anime style and actually has a few anime cutscenes! This game took a lot of controls from RE4 too so its solid. This is the most mature game I ever played. The f word is constant, which is awesome. This game has a great story and if you understand it. It's not terribly hard but you unlock harder modes. This was a great game and after all the delays, it was worth the wait. Anyone who's mature enough to sink in a very in depth plot and mature enough for the gore should get this. It's also for the PS2 but it is "Sonic Heroed" meaning the PS2 version chugs in framerate and graphically challenged than the GCN counterpart, like the PS2 version of Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog.

I guess I need to be the one who'd change things... I completed it, but the controls were too frustrating. The game was also boring at times and the story was too convoluted. I loved Metal Gear Solid, but Killer 7 is just a mishmash of stories that can easily make me confused. Luckily, the ending does rock. But I give it a 6.0.
