hmm, I hate to bring up a old topic, but rather starting a New topic about Sonic Advance two, I figured I'll Post here..
Sonic Advance two (IMHO) blew One out of the water, it was harder, It had that "Sonic Feel", the chartars where better.

If you beat it with one character with all emeralds you get the Tiny Chao Garden, Two characters, you get Sound Test(Cream has a tamborine in this one and Amy had maracas in Advance 1). With 3 characters, you get to unlock the time attack for the bosses, and all 4 gets you Amy.

Yes, but don't forget about True Area 51. That's where the real Sonic Feel comes back. For some, this boss even tops the Bio Lizard in SA2.

I near that, I just can't get the last Emelread, dose anyone have any tips for it? (why must the quote button be right next to the modify button? I can't tell them apart sometimes when I'm half awake). Have you seen my walkthrough? scorpius.spaceports.com/~xfox/games/walk/sva2. I know I can get a top view map ripped for each stage. Only problem is its sized 1024x1024 pixels. I don't know how such a huge thing is contained in the game. I'll check if it has the rings on the map. If it does, I'll size it down and make directions to the best path for chains.

Emulators are great. I own the game now (otherwise I'd never win a chao race in sadx). Almost every Tails animation and pic on the site that you see from the games came from a rom. They're great for screenshots too. There's nothing really bad about emulators. They're for development purposes and preservation. And I'll be making some roms of my own sometime too I think .

I hate them cause Nintendo loses money, just wait til Nintendo's new Game Boy comes out it will be on GCN sized disks so you can't pirate them, so I wouldn't underestimate them. That just means they can't burn their own disks or copy existing games. They can still study the processors and read from the cd using the system. When you say pirating, what is your definition? There are teams of people who just like studying how the games were made and want to make their own. I'm still uncertain which were harder to make for their times: Sonic Adventure and other 3D games, or the original 2D Sonic games. But its apparent that not all the staff went through the experience of working on the 2D games. I think that the software for making the 3D stuff spoiled them and maybe the old stuff was harder in some ways. Think about it. They can make these great big 3D games. Yet they couldn't convert the audio tracks from Sonic CD to wav and put Sonic CD into Mega Collection. Just like how there are DOS users and Windows XP users. There is old school and new school programmers. The old school has been through tougher stuff, while the new school stuff is a bit more lazy and not as organized. Its not just copying games. Its for research. Remember that.

well 99.99% of gamers download them for a free game pirating means downloading them for free all of the Sonic CD movies are on Mega Collection, just not the game (and theyre all digitally remastered) GBA game programmers still use the old programs, just updated for better graphics etc. Its just the GBA cartridges dont take that much memory.

But they had the space to put Sonic CD on it. The only problem was sound I bet. Because they couldn't reprogram the games to use the sound internally, they just left it out. They couldn't change the old Genesis games (they didn't how maybe). Mega Collection is just a big Genesis emulator. with a few features outside of it (but not nearly as much as Sonic Jam).

Mega Collection is just Genesis games ONLY just like Mega Collection 2(SADX) is Adventure and Game Gear Games, theyre no category for CD,PC,32X or Saturn 32X and Sega CD would fit nowhere else other than along with the Genesis. They could have done alot more with the game. Maybe its worth it as a collector's item, but I wouldn't pay $40 for it. Maybe if the price drops.
