Read this article I just found. The GBA's new player will have Episodes of Sonic X released on it. Here's the full story from IGN.
March 11, 2004 - Majesco has revealed that it has entered a three year deal with 4Kids Entertainment to publish several cartoons on Majesco's upcoming GBA Video format.
The company will produce 12 different volumes of individual episodes this May, including episodes from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Sonic X. Additional terms of the deal call for the promotion of the titles on 4Kids Entertainment's FOX BOX programming block and FOX BOX Web site. Majesco's new video compression technology presently allows viewing of approximately 45 minutes of quality color video with the capability to view 90 minutes of color video under development. The technology fits in a standard Nintendo-manufactured, Game Boy Advance cartridge and incorporates standard " DVD-style" player controls. The technology features color video across 100 percent of the screen.
The company previously announced a deal with Nintendo that brings SpongeBob Squarepants, Fairly Oddparents, and Jimmy Neutron to the cartridge format.

I onder if its the whole series and if it can be played on the GBPlayer It would be playable on the GBA as well as the GB Player. But don't expect it to be near DVD quality or anything (which I couldn't stress enough if you try to view it at full screen on the GB Player). The compression will have to be pretty good if they want to pull this off though. I think the maximum capacity of a GBA cart is 256 megabits (16 megabytes). The price of catridges and chips is pretty high compared to CD games. I predict the price of each cart (which there's really no way it could hold more than one episode each) will end up costing more than a DVD volume of episodes. It's a nice idea, it's probably going to have the same fate as the N-Gage.

Sure they stated it, but its still too early to tell. I mean, it could be DVD quality.... however, its still early. They are going to try, but they can't garuntee anything.

My guess is that they are going to release an X amount of episodes per month and there is 52 episodes, so It could take about 2-3 years to release them all. Or just release a bunch at once then it will take about a year.
