I was reading today about which versions of the game to buy, and everyone had this to say about it.
Aviod buying the PS2 version at all cost. It is the worst of the 3 versions. I forgot the exact details, but it takes a long time to load, the sounds are off, and the graphics are bad.
The GameCube and XBox versions are superb. Everything is great. And, The camara's are still bad. it was always like that with the 3D Sonic Games, so no worries there.
So, in the end AVOID THE PS2 VERSION OF SONIC HEROES AT ALL COSTS!

Well, I agree with you 100% because it is only natural that the GCN and Xbox version would be better. Sonic Team has expereince on those two consoles, and have no experience at all as far as Sony's console goes. Even so, PS2 fanboys come up in large numbers... and I predict this game will be a hit on that system.
But for true gamers who know quality, I suggest the GCN and Xbox versions as well. In the end, it may not make a huge difference... but the little things still count. One of the little things is the release date. If that is a concern to you, stick with the cube version.

well here are the advantages the systems have over each other, playstation 2 has best cg graphics but it has crappy gameplay graphics,gc has best gameplay graphics, and xbox doesnt have cg graphics but it does have 16 player capability ( i heard anyway and online of course)

Xbox can only have up to 4 players offline, same with the cube. If you have a multi-tap, then you could have more than 4 players on the PS2. If you have LAN, then you can have up to 16 players on the cube.
Xbox has the strongest graphics. That explains the huge size... GCN has the 2nd best graphics. They're strong and unappreciated. The console's size is responsible for it's fast load times. The PS2 has the largest library of games, but most are unimpressive. But even so, Sony has the most 3rd party support. However, it's processors are weak... thus explaining the noticably inferior graphics.

any of you heard of the geforce company? the company thats newest game will have the best graphics ever, i saw three screenshots and was utterly stupified, i looked at the main character and i could see something that looked like REAL skin, hair, and facial features. it was.........simply beautiful, i looked at the graphics of other things as well, the trees..... they looked just like real trees, i mean this was beyond cg graphics. anyway its some power power power ass video card that theyre going to make the game for

oh it was related to someone saying xbox has the best graphics which is untrue, cause geforce made their own system thing thats like a mini computer except its made specifically for gaming

Well, if you have no other console than PS2, I guess you might as well get it for that console. I mean, you have no other choice (unless you were to buy a new console).

If it plays games, I wouldn't concider it a pice of junk. Perhaps by comparison, the games and graphics will look pretty crummy though. But owning a PS2 has its ups and downs.
