I've been offline for over a week due to Comcast failing. I'm at a friend's house using his PC (he has Comcast too and as of recently, it has been losing connections for up to a day in downtime). Everyone in the entire state is having problems with them and nothing's being done. I'm hoping everything at home will be fixed by Monday. I can't even get online to pay my credit card bills let alone pay the Comcast bill that's due. I'm gonna argue with them until they waive the entire month at least. In the past 6 months ago, there's always been atleast 3 connection drops per week. I talk to their customer service people too much about it. And the technicians they send out don't do a thing.
I've been outdated on everything lately. I had no idea that Secret Rings came out, or what the Wii VC games that came out last week were. There's probably even some online friends that have assumed me as dead for the lack of activyty. Hopefully I can catch up.

It's good to see that you got to write your blog at you friends house, and that you got to post a little bit. I always seem to hear bad things about Comcast, I think my Grandma's cable service got switched to Comcast, so I hope she doesn't have any trouble. You know what, I think something like this just to me, but the cable box outside of the house was broken.
So I hope you can work things out so you can start posting again.

For the record: Donkey Kong Country, The Legend of Kage, New Adventure Island, and Streets of Rage hit the VC and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will hit this coming Monday. Nintendo also announced that MSX and Neo Geo games will be on the VC in Japan along with the 5 current systems.

Ahh, that explains it. Hopefully you'll get online soon, but it looks like you should switch to something else like Verizon or something.

Well I use comcast myself, and although there have been some stability issues (+ the fact that they charge us for an additional cable box that we don't have), they've been at least up. Latency and transfer speeds, though, are another matter entirely.

Is it possible that the issue isolated to south-west Florida?::shrugs:: ah well im not switching to DSL ... those services are even worse.. at least in this area... in Ocala they weren't so bad. Anyway its not as bad for me as it is for XFox right now, mine just goes down every few hours or so, still thats how his started i guess. In my case i would think it would be the cable modem itself, except a few of my neighbors are suffering the same problem. I wanna move >_< ah well im done complainin' eh hehe

Internet is working again . Supposedly there was a bad connection to the poles outside. After all that time of it being down, my IP remains unchanged upon being connected again. They should be waiving next month's bill entirely for all the trouble too.
