I downloaded a movie thats in Japanese, and theres no subtitles for it. I think some files that came with it are subtitle files, but Ive no clue how to add them into the movie. The files are a SUB file and and IDX file. I may sound like an idiot for asking, but are these subtitle files and can I add them to the movie? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: After a couple hours of searching for different files and player programs, I figured it out.

Me and my friends are trying to figure that out at the moment but it's like a ccp file or something. *Looks around* I can't say what movie I'm doing though. If you want to know..... Guess lol.

hehe, its probably the same movie im doing it for. Anyway, if you already have the subtitle file and are looking for how to input it into the movie, download this player www.bsplayer.org If you have the movie and the subtitle file in the same folder, this player will automatically load them in the movie for you.

You could download the K-Lite Codec pack which comes with Media Player Classic, you can play all kinds of wired and wounderful subtitle files.
