I've noticed that the board has been pretty dead lately. Especially cause no one has really posted anything at all in over a month. So what's up? People getting bored here? Or are people too busy during school? Hmm.. I don't really wanna see this board being dead like this.
So.... just to be random... anything new and interesting happening in people's lives here? Let's just chat in this thread about anything going on right now in our lives.

I know what you mean, I've still been checking around almost every day, I'm just not one to really start threads XD. I don't wanna see it become dead either though, I like coming here and I like the people, all like, 4 of us. Still, I'd rather it be 4 good members than 50 crappy ones.
Not a whole lot going on with me though. My birthday was last week. Oh, and I have an Xbox 360 now, not playing any Live games at the moment though. Marik's blog did inspire me to buy Tales of Vesperia though.

So I saw. We both saw you on the other day and he was surprised to see you had a 360 now.
So, what do you think of Vesperia so far? Are you liking it? ^_^ I haven't really played it yet. Just like, one battle. But it seems pretty good and I like the graphics. Not only that but you can walk around on a world map again.
Happy belated birthday by the way!

Haha, were you and Marik playing Fable II together or something? I noticed he was playing that a lot.
I personally love Tales of Vesperia, every game Marik suggests I seem to love though, so I'm not really surprised XD. After beating Eternal Sonata, I was looking for another JRPG, and this fit the bill very well, I was also looking for a good first game on my 360 and I wanted an RPG. Yeah, I could go on for a while XD.
Thanks XD

so, are you enjoying have a 360 to play on?

Holy crap, people posted! Yea since I started Never Unplaying, I kinda forgot about this place.... sorry. Thanks a lot for reading the site. I hope to update again soon. School, work and her take up all my time. But I will get back into things again.

Don't worry. I'll make sure to get you back into things again, heh.
Anyways, now that I'm back in school for the spring semester, I've been bogged down with loads of work. I'm doing 3D animation now for my digital media class so I'm spending hours modeling. ...Wait til the animating part comes in.
Not only that, but I'm in a game design course so I've been busy with my team in developing an arcade game that's due on the 27th and all we have done is.... a concept. So I'm gonna be busy working some sprite sheets and backgrounds and a title screen. ....And while we're working on this, we have to get started on our 3D game which we'll be testing out on the XBox when it's done.
Combine those with my work in my Type class and I'm not sure how I'm going to get it all done.

Heh, well, for me? Like others have said, there just isn't much going on, although I have beeen twittering like mad recently ( proof), so if you're ever curious what's up, that's the place to check...

I've seen your Twitter posts too. Seem pretty busy. I really need to Twitter more for my site. Actually writing articles would help too. I'm working on like 3 now, but when they'll finish? Who knows. I finally did all I wanted to do in Fable 2 and it's new happy DLC, Knothole Island. So now it rots away until Lionhead releases new stuff.
Now it's Tenchu for Wii.

Heh, I kind of stopped checking this place regularly in December. I apologize. >.<
You got a 360, Odin? Odd, I never really saw you online, though I guess I wasn't really paying much attention, I haven't seen Marik online much either.
I've been watching Never Unplaying, Marik, added it to my RSS feeds and everything. If anything, it convinced me how much I need to play Vesperia, you giving it Game of the Year and all (I was kind of sad that you didn't put Mirror's Edge up there, that being my second favorite game of 2008 next to MGS4, but whatever). I think it's kind of weird that Vesperia will be my first Tales game since many of my friends have played Symphonia/Abyss/etc, but I don't really mind as long as I'm not missing any story.
When I'm not being a college student, I'm most likely playing Chrono Trigger or Prince of Persia (I've been on a PoP kick lately, I really need to play the Sands of Time trilogy). Occasionally I'll pop in Fable II or Atelier Iris.

Ooh, posts! Anyway, I've been checking in, although not that regularly, and almost always from school (which causes some difficulty in posting). Trying to balance so many things at once; Halo PC/Mac modding, Here, Another Tails forum, The Tails Firefox theme, Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy, and some other things. This forum's inactivity has earned it a rather low spot on the priority list.

Heh, well at least this thread is somewhat active for now.
So... looks like everyone is busy with games and school. Hmm.. anyone bogged down with schoolwork yet? I know I am.... I feel like I'll never finish and this is only week 2...

The priority list for me here is very low (used to be #1! funny, huh?). I miss the days of old where it'd be busy. But we all kinda grew up. But really it's threads with the gang (like this) that makes me love it. I miss ya guys. Makes ya think we should do something to keep in better touch. A lot of you guys have 360, maybe something on Live? (BTW, get Halo Wars and play the demo: AWESOME!) Or some sort of site where we can chat or socially blog stuff like here but a more closer way. Wish we all lived closer, but this is what's great about the internet! Making friends that aren't nearby and ways you couldnt in person.

I have been thinking of talking to you guys on Live, but I've always been too shy. >.< We really should set something up one of these days, like an AIM chatroom or something.
Halo Wars is actually good? That's surprising. Forgive me for saying so, but I thought it would suck purely since it's a console RTS, and those are almost never good.

We should do something. We should go to ConnectiCon 09 since it's a good midpoint for all of us who replied to this thread so far (if your locations are correct). It'd be nice to actually meet up.
Halo Wars is fun, but not a great RTS due to the lack of good base building. Combat, controls and story though are awesome.

Well I've been playing the demo alot, and, quite frankly... not impressed with it. The camera is way too fast and glitchy for me, which makes the game... not quite unusable, but much more difficult then it's needed to be. The combat doesn't seem too big. Just send them over there, and they'll either decimate the enemy, or get decimated, depending on the circumstances...
Quite frankly, I think that Tom Clancy's End War did it not only surprisingly well, but raised the bar for me on all RTS's on the console.

ConnectiCon 09 would be fun, I'd really like to go to a convention like that, although I just turned 17 this year XD, it would be harder for me to get down there, I might be able to find a way to get down there though.
As far a chatting with everyone goes, I do have MSN, and there are always the DeviantART chatrooms that work...okay. I would chat with ya on Xbox live, I just don't have a headset yet.
Speaking of Xbox Live, I had to make a new gamertag, mine was really messed up and wouldn't let me subscribe to gold, it's just "odinsafe" now, I'll make sure to add you all again.

Yay! Connecticon! You know I'm there. No way I'm not going.
Hmm.. I guess we could always go on DeviantART to use the chatrooms there. Although I do have AIM and Yahoo too so I can talk to anyone.
I guess I need an XBox and some better internet.... everyone else can use XBox live except me...

Any other ways for a good group chat? for all of us to IM like an IRC or talk like Xbox Live's party function?

Didn't the Tails Archive have an IRC chatroom? As I think I said, I don't have a headset for my xbox at the moment (not the biggest voice chat person, dunno if I really want one).
And don't forget, Yahoo and MSN users can add each other into group chats.

We do have a chatroom, I think. IRC won't work for me unless I'm at home, my college disables the ports required for IRC on their network. It makes downloading rare anime a bitch, let me tell you. Unless I can find a Java client on the server itself, no IRC for me. I think Conneticon '09 won't work for me either, I'm going to Otakon with my college's anime club, and I don't want to split my money between two cons, since I know I'm going to be spending a ton of money at Otakon (Like last year) and college comes first since I'm pretty much paying for it myself.
I can't find my 360 mic. >.< I know I brought it to college with me, but it might have been stolen. That, or I just forgot it at home. Sorry to be a party pooper here, this is a bit of a sad post.
In terms of group chat, I would say an AIM or DeviantArt chatroom might be best. There's also Skype, that has text group chatting, although we could always do audio/visual if we want.

Don't forget that ANY mic with a 2.5 mm jack will work with the 360 controller. Maybe you got one with your cell phone, try that. Or, they're pretty cheap to buy. You can get a pretty decent one for like $30.

Yeah, I have noticed that. I was trying to find a way to use my 360's mic on the PC via an extension cord or something like that, but I couldn't find anything.

Here's another thought, what about Anime Boston? Is anyone going to that? Me and Lil Ninja are, wanna meet up there? Also here's in idea, but also an important question. Anyone knows any good video chat (or video conferencing) program? It'd be cool for us but me and Lil Ninja keep getting screwed outta Gmail's chat (And Skype sucked).

Yeah... that was really sucking last night...
Hee, at least we are going to Anime Boston if we eever get around to pre-reg. We've been putting that off.
So... I think the DA chatroom is probably one of our best bets seeing how almost all of us have DA accounts. But like I said, I have AIM, and I have Yahoo so I can talk to anyone even if they have MSN.
I got a question too. Anybody know of a good name I can use for the game in my Game Design class? We're creating a FPS and the main charrie is a snowball. He's supposed to get his revenge against little kids and dogs in an attempt to find the kid who created him and gave him his miserable life.
