Nintendo Power celebrates 20 years! How about announcing the return of 2 classic franchises for the current Nintendo console.
Castlevania Judgement: Sorry but it's not a real Castlevania. It's a fighting game. Motion controlled fighting game. Looks like it'll include Simon, Alucard, Maria and Dracula. Looks like stuff like Holy water can be used ala Smash Bros items and it uses hearts ala Castlevania. Enemies seems to get into the battle. you can harvest souls and use them to control people for fights? Yea...
Mega Man 9: Not much is know here but it's the next 2D Mega Man for WiiWare. What really needs to be said? It's Mega Man, and it's.... 8 Bit! Magma Man, Galaxy Man, Jewel Man, Concrete Man, Hornet Man, Plug Man, Tornado Man, and Splash Woman are your bosses. Woman?
Announced a while ago was Wario Land: Shake It, the 5th installment and return of the 2D Wario Land platformers(first for a console and not seen since WL4 for GBA). Uses a very Japanese RPG(and unNintendo) art style, hand drawn gameplay and anime cutscenes.

Castlevania fighting game, eh? Looks cool, I wonder how it's going to work. Hopefully it'll be worth the price....
As for Mega Man 9, I personally think the switch back to 8-bit is a bad idea. I don't have a problem with nostalgia, but not really for a Mega Man game, there's been enough 8-bits of those as it is. I just hope Proto Man's going to be in it.
I don't really have an opinion on Wario, as I've never played the games before.

Mega Man 9 will have intentional bugs like flickering. Now that's being old school.
Wario Land was a "I'll believe it when I see more of it" thing and after seeing more, it looks great. Especially after the crappy E3 conference. It is in the category of "only neat game coming this year from Nintendo this year" with Animal Crossing.

Wario Land's out now. Pretty fun. Short story, but difficult side goals can lengthen it up. Watch this awesome YouTube Commercial.Mega Man 9's out too, hard as hell and fans want nothing less.

Also for MM9, apparently a patch will be released soon allowing you to play as Proto Man, so yay! I might pick it up when it comes out on the 360 Arcade, as I don't have my Wii at college.

Not a patch... It's d/l content. Proto's a clean 2 bucks you need to slap down.
