So, I'm guessing most everyone here is back in school. So, how is it for y'all?
I'm currently a seinor in high school. I'd have to say, the first four periods of my day (Out of eight) are pretty great, especially my first one, AP Chemistry. AP Computer Science is pretty cool, too. My lunch period, fifth, isn't good at all, I sit at a table with some friends, but not ones that I'd actually like to spend most of my time with. A really annyoing guy sits at the table next to me, which sucks. I really hope I can switch to sixth period lunch, which is where most of my good friends, including my best friend, are. Other than that, my remaining three periods are meh. So, I'd have to rate these classes a 6 out of 10. These couldn't compare to my 10th grade Chemistry and 11th grade Spanish 4 classes, which are the best classes I've ever had.
So, how about the rest of you?

I'm pretty happy with my classses, but I have a two and a half hour period (between astronomy/meteorology (1st/2nd sem), lab for physics, and physics class itself, yes, suprisingly, in that order), where I can't eat anything, smack dab in the middle of the day. Since I'm lunch-less, I'm beyond dead for my creative writing class. I'm stuck with idiots that are in my computer science class (probably in the class for credit, nothing more), a showoff who thinks TCP is a type of sports drink, and of course the class harasser, but that's a story for another day. Oh, and my astonomy/meteorology teacher spent THREE days on what counts as an excused absense. (If you're having a baby, if you're in court, if you're in the hospital, if you're AT the hospital, if you're in ISS, etc, etc, etc). It was one of those "It was either watch paint dry or listen to this guy, but the paint freaking dried, so I'm stuck here" kind of thing. Plus, my creative writing teacher has the "thousand and one stories syndrome". The girl just doesn't know when to stop. "Can I go to the bathroom?" "Well that reminds me of a friend of mine who went to the bathroom and..." No exaduration.
Beyond that though, it's actually pretty fun (although I'm not a big fan with the amount of homework in my pre-calc class (it's equal to the amount of homework thus far COMBINED, excluding comp sci). Had the same teacher from the year before though, so that's kinda a plus. Also have the same teacher from two years ago for Poetry. The physics teacher, although nice, is kinda out there, and my computer science teacher seems nice, but I have a feeling I'm not going to like him.
Great way to start off my senior year!

Wasn't this made last year too?
Ok here's my life with a normal week I will/might be facing
Monday 12-3: Computer Game Pre-Production. Most possibly my most important class. Haven't had it yet, but in the title, it seems that it'll be about producing games.
Monday 7-10(yay 4 hour breaks): Physics: Awesome teacher I have here.
Tuesday 12-3: Modding 2: The class is basically a game team and we're modding a peticular computer game. Right now, it seems my idea is gonna win it. It's a Serious Sam 2 mod based on Johnny's Xtreme Adventure(X-Play fans know what we're talking about! Rocket launchers shooting exploding chainsaws duct taped with katanas!)
Tuesday 7-10(another damn break): Game Design on Paper: When I saw this, I fell in love thinking that I'll learn the writing part of game development. Well, I was wrong. I'm basically playing D & D and modding it and making dungeons... or something(never played it). Hey, I'm not complaining. Plus the teacher is important to me. He's an artist in Blue Fang Studios(Zoo Tycoon 1 & 2 and expansions, part of Microsoft). I had him before and he's a great guy. He's essential to me too cause he was talking about hiring entry levels in there for Game Designers. I want that position more than anything at the moment.
Wed. 7-10: Physics again, but the lab. Says itself, luckily I'm a pro in Math or I'd be screwed.
Rest of week: Fundimantals of an Enterprise: Web based class. I hate these but it's all I could get. I need some business.
Rest of week 2: Homework
Rest of week 3: Work. After seeing where I go to school for, guess where I work. That's right, GameStop. Not a heck of a lot of hours, but it's a great job. Nice benefits.
Rest of Week 4: Oh yea, lastly, playing games. Bringing the benefit thing back is that I get to rent games from the store for free. Beat Dirge of Cerberus with that and I'll buy it when it's a Greatest Hits. I still have more to do in it. Working on Disgaea 2 once more.

Let's see here. This would be my 5th week in school. I'm stilling majoring in Drafting & Design. I was planning to have double majors, one being computer programming, but I decided not for fear that I might do terrible.
Anyways, I'm still working with AutoCAD(the 2007 version is pure awesomeness) and CATIA, a new drawing program that a lot harder than your ordinary AutoCAD.
I'm not just taking drafting this semester though. I'm also taking Calculus I-A and recreational swimming. Calculus, so far, is easy, but it can look very frustrating with all the long formulas. Swimming is my favorite class so far. It gives me something fun to do during the week, and it's helping me get rid of some pounds.

As mentioned before, I'm up to my neck in work, both at school and at work. @___@ Sorry for not posting here as often as I really want to... Anyways, onward to the classes...
My favorite classes right now are my two computer architechture classes... ^__^ Well, it's actually two classes that were smudged into one, but it still feels like two classes. But I'm highly interested in embedded computing, so I cherish every moment of this class...
My new networking course is pretty great, too. Difference between this and the other ones is that this one goes down to its lowest logical level... in other words, lots of math. It feels like a networking math class, so far, really.
Got a couple of "normal" programming classes, one on Java and the other on Data Structures & Algorithms in C++.
My last class is a CIS/IT/MIS (whichever it's called in your area) class that's absolutely boring and terrible... I have no idea why they use VB.NET so much. xP

That's one hell of a sad CS class you're stuck in, then... and yet, humorous. =P Be sure to pass stories along. ^__^

Really? That's awesome, wish I had a CC around here like that for me... xP Just means it costs less. Really, my "University" isn't all that much bigger than the average CC, to me anyways...
