An early happy thanksgiving to you all. In this topic, you can talk about your favorite dishes for Thanksgiving.
I like to eat my mom's homemade stuffing and deviled eggs.

Hmm, turkey with gravy and kimchi. *grins vapidly* Sooo nummy. Kimchi is spicy pickled Korean cabbage or radish if you didn't know. Odd as the combination sounds, it's tasty. ... To me, at least. *shrugs* I also like stuffing, tho' ours comes out of the box, but mum adds onions, cranberries or raisins, and almonds.

I always love Thanksgiving, it's the one time out of the year when I eat home-made stuffing (Usually it's Stove Top, which isn't the best). I also get to eat my grandfather's rice, wich is probably the best rice ever.

Hnh. I only know the Stove Top stuffing. I really should try homemade sometime, no?
Oh, does anyone else stick citrus fruit in their turkey before it's cooked? I randomly read somewhere that it makes the meat more tender, and ever since, we've jammed our turkey full of oranges.

Henh. I just finished off a food essay in which the author kinda goes on a rant about how turkey, unless cooked perfectly, will always be one of the worst kinds of meat you can get and how it was just symbolic and it was even an accurate symbol, etc. etc. It was rather amusing, I must say.
Hm, ham.... I've never been a ham-person, really. How is your mudder's ham?

[glow=purple,2,300]we only have two bottles for Thanksgiving and two for Christmas. If you buy the company, would you give me some Middi? Oh, I'd suggest Martenelli's (I think that's the name) their cider is the best! -though, can't talk much, has only had that one company, but is using the store brand this year-
er...whats Wasabi? and I'm looking forward to getting to eat food we only have once a year...but not a lot...[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300] sounds interesting...I was raised as a little kid In New Mexico...and I've slowly grown out of liking spiciy food since moving here to NJ...though I'll try the stuff...I've never really had Asian food, though there was that one time I went to the Japanese restuarant near here...learned vaguely how to use chop sticks...
And my dad bought two different kinds...the one was okay, but the Swedish Apple Sparkler was absoluetly horrible...I'll force him to buy Martinelli's next time...[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]doesn't it though? I think it was made from Granny Smiths...which is perfectly fine in pies...but not apparently in cider drinks[/glow]

Agk. Well, coulda been the way that th' company made it. ... Or maybe Granny Smith apples were never, never meant to be used as cider. Hmm... I want pie now. Nice warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream...
