[glow=purple,2,300]Now if we did that we would all be frozen for the rest of eternity...then again there would be an eternity because there wouldn't be an existant time to define that eternity...so what in the hells would happen? Would we just disappear?[/glow]

Would we freeze as well? Would we age?

|
Post by DigiTails on Sept 21, 2005 18:37:46 GMT -5
[glow=purple,2,300]which is exactly why we'd be making it dizzy, maiming, and mauling it...we wouldn't kill, not ever...that's just mean...Oo then again we wouldn't exactly be around to get bashed over it...and I wouldn't be out of time to do things...there never would have been a time to do it...but...ah...crap...this is getting a bit...theoretical[/glow]

And/or philosophical and all that other crap. I say we just do away with Time and introduce a new concept to take its place. There. That'll work, neh?

Get rid of time? What are we going to do , creat our own Neverland? If so I'll be all for it, for some reason after you hit a certian age you don't want to go further...I think I am past that age.

Ill become a recruit for mangling time........Ive always wanted to mangle something. Plus I really dont want to lose my friends. Friends are one of the most important things to me, so I dread the day when we all go our separate ways.

The problem here is that time may only be a concept in our own minds, in which case... uhm... hm... In which case, it'd be very difficult to mangle it. ... Save by bluedgeoning a figure representing time, which would be cruel. Shouldn't shoot the messenger or mangle the representative.

[glow=purple,2,300]no that's right...hnh...time is a concept of well...ah...we needa new time system, that's it! So that time only goes as fast as you want it to, but then that would get rather confusing...[/glow]

|
|
Post by Midori-chan on Sept 24, 2005 17:30:56 GMT -5
Yes, it would. ... Unless we somehow managed to slow time down for OURSELVES by putting only ourself into a certain mind-set in which time could go as fast or as slow as we needed it to be! Time itself would not change; our perception of it would! ... What the freak... ;;

[glow=purple,2,300]*nods* that's very true, Midori. It would be nice if we could do that. --would percieve her school day go quickly but time at home go slower-- and this is getting like...strange...oh and you gotta love the second page, Nyi-san's post is first. Put that with the topic name "It seems to me...I have too much time on my hands."
eh...I'll try to translate...I got the basic gist of what she was saying...but its kinda complex...anyways..."Time stays constant, but instead we slow down or speed up in time as we see fit." That's about as simple as I can make it...[/glow]

NEVAH. *hisses* And yes, I am quite capable of being serious, thank you very much for NOT DOUBTING SAID CAPABILITY. *giggles* Anyway, I can't take credit for the idea. I got it whilst reading Stranger in a Strange Land. Good book, I must say.

Oh heckz, yeah, It's sad, really... >.>;; I think it is funny when Midori is all hyper like then she goes all serious. Had a great laugh with that. XD I have severe personality shifts every so often. It's great, especially when people stare over and go 'O___o;;', and you KNOW they were eavesdropping, and you can point at them and go "HA! You were DROPPING EAVES! How clumsy!". ... Not that I've ever done such a thing. ... Really. It's not from lack of trying either. =__=;
