For those of you who want to learn how to make a site, this tutorial is what explains it. http://XFox_Prower.tripod.com/other/htmlHowever, if you do not care to read it and let me know if you understood everything or got lost somewhere, I can't continue it until I get this feedback.

It's strange that entities are recognized. Other html things are not. I tried html tags. But I can get away with anything in the headers. That's how I have that Beta Theme Panel ^_^.

DUDE! I could so use that in Web Page Design! That's a good idea. In my web design class, they did not teach us HTML. They taught how to use FrontPage. As a result, everyone didn't know what they were doing and had couldn't remember how to do something without opening the book. As for me, I didn't have to follow their dumb step by step instructions on what to do in the projects. I just looked at the picture in the book and typed the html to organize it. I didn't even have to look at my screen. Ocassionally I'd have to browse around for an image but that's about it. For some reason FrontPage filters out the <marguee> tag (the tag that makes something scroll across the screen). And the end result? Same stuff with cleaner code. The teacher would send someone around to look at our screens and write a check on a piece of paper. I finish in 10 minutes usually. Sometimes 20 minutes on a week-long long project lol. And that means more time to look around for Tails sites .

[glow=purple,2,300]HTML is advanced website programming. That is the only way u can add java script to a site. The basic programming is like for people who don't know html. It is where they give you a layout and u get to fill in the blanks, pick colors and other stuff like that.[/glow]

Basically, the templates like what Freewebs has is like training wheels on a bike. If you ever want be a pro at it, you have to go further. To me its easier to learn the right way from the start.

I've memorised most of the html codes i need, and it only took me about 3 days i wrote my first html when i was 9, it was VERY basic but it still worked <html> This is some text </html> thats it folks

I remember MS Frontpage, it used to mess up javascript and advanced css stuff a lot. I switched to Macromedia Dreamweaver, now thats a good program, especially when its bundled with Macromedia Fireworks.

And yet still, nothing can make a more compatible page than Notepad (or other text editor variations). See those buttons on some of my pages? (such as the Updates Page) The buttons say the page is compliant with XHTML 1.0 Strict. That's not something Front Page or Dream Weaver can accomplish, you have to work for them

I would like to learn php but I haven't got the time. Thanks. I recently changed the tutorial to teach full XHTML 1.0 Strict. I don't know much about frames, but the target attribute is no longer allowed in the <a> tag. Frames aren't faring too well in the standards. They may be depricated in a few years.

Thats a shame I use frames alot, The fact that targets aren't allowed in the a tag would completely remove the ability to use frames, oh well.

Your tutorials are working quite fine. I would love to see you continue the lesson on CSS That would make my first valid page even better! And I won't have to ask you sooo many questions
