Before my site moved, I was going to check T35 since I signed up with them awhile ago. But I was a day too late and saw they sent an email saying that they want active members in their community and removed everything in my account. I'm not sure if that means you have some (unknown) days to login before that or if you must be active in their forums. The FAQ and TOS said nothing about that (they usually never do). You mean like so many posts ?

Active members is usually the restriction of "You must log in at least once every (such-and-such) days." But there's also the restriction of "We don't care about you users -- go away."

www.otaku-universe.com looks pretty good if you have a site about anime. 250 MB (just don't host episodes or anything the terms of service says not to). Of course advanced knowledge of HTML and ftp could be needed.

[glow=purple,2,300]www.illusionfxnet.com, I dunno, but it sounds good[/glow] Illusionfxnet sucks because they say in their Terms of Service "No anime sites allowed!". Don't even try to choose them

www.freewebtown.comWork well for me the times I check it , but right now it is down for upgrade related things. 1024MB+ XXXXMB Bandwidth ( Have to make double sure ) FTP Access ( Browser only ? ) Wide script support and they have premade scripts and templates you could use.

i found a site, but i lost the URL, it allowed unlimited bandwith, and 2 gigs of space. but you had to do EVERYTHING from pure HTML, no links to pictures as you have to program the picture yourself into the site. so it wasn't too good, and the terms say "any linking and you will be fined $200"

are you looking to start a free site? I did one under Geocities a few years ago. It's not bad to make a site under there. And you don't have to work on your site for a couple of months if you don't want to. I think I had left mine alone for about half a year before i tried updating. But I'm not sure what you have a preference in.
Tell you what, I'll show you my site and then you can decide for yourself if Geocities is good. It's under the links section in the Mobius Revolution thread.

Geocities? Nah... if you ask me all those free servers are pretty lame. The best server is your own server.

of course the best server would be your own server. But when you're poor... then you just have to stick with the free ones
